Interesting stuff. It seems that the truth is spreading far and wide. I bet there are a fair few Everton fans who are pi$$ed of with the way their club has been used to support two child neglectors.

I don't think the McC's counted on the internet keeping their lies alive. I wonder if they would have disappeared off the radar by now had it not been for the internet? Or do you think the Fund would have kept them going? Or do you think it is more to do with Amaral? I am soooooo happy that he has written a second book clapping

You are so right Anna, we would only have heard what was printed in our papers. But as you so rightly say the intenet had been able to bring us news from Portugal which would never have been reported here.

Thank you for the welcome, candyfloss! Hi Anna, I'm very happy too about Dr Amaral's new book. I'll be even happier when Sir Gerry get the bill for Amaral's costs and compo. Seconded, Cloud9. I'm ashamed to say that I fell for the abduction smoke-screen, until I read of the news of Eddie and Keela and their findings, direct from Portugal via the now-defunct Mirror forum. It was a real Eureka moment. "They have been bloody lying..." I thought. And four years on, they continue to live a lie, every day. It must be a living hell, having to keep up this charade. Any so- called parent who can deny their child the peace of a proper funeral and resting place deserves that living hell, for every miserable moment of their lives.

I also fell for the abduction story but have gradually been wising up to what may really have happened and it's not looking pretty.

I've also seen this forum http://www.ukpoliceonline.co.uk/index.php?/topic/40346-british-police-said-mccanns-should-be-investigated-after-madeleine-went-missing/page__hl__madeleine__st__20 where I came across Mr Amarals' book translated itno english and like the police office on this forum I also wondered why this hadn't been mentioned in the british press???? This makes enlightening reading.
