Are you referring to the WRU Child Protection, or WT Associates Ltd? If it's WT Associates LTD, yes, MWT still holds position of director of that company
I meant if he still held the position as WRU Child Protection Consultant. Sorry I wasn't clear.
WT Associates and the WRU designed a Child Protection course together:

It appears that MWT was only involved in some sort of training in regards to CRB checks. .
Here is the up-to-date link of Area Child Protection Coordinators for the WRU:

Thanks. I guess I'm just trying to find out his career path. There are many overlaps in his linkedin profile, which of course is possible. He seems to have many fingers in the pie.

ITV signs up Savile investigator
Shiver, the factual arm of ITV Studios UK, has received two commissions from ITV and agreed a programme deal with criminologist and investigative journalist Mark Williams-Thomas
The deal with Williams-Thomas will see him work on a series of undercover investigations to be broadcast on ITV from
later this year.
Williams-Thomas, a former police officer, was behind the Royal Television Society award- and Peabody-winning doc Exposure: The Other Side of Jimmy Savile
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Will he be called on by ITV to give updates on SY investigation?
There seems to be very little background information on MWT, it's has if he's built himself up to be the great I am in uncovering child abuse, just like Saville did with his charities.
Agree with what you say Nereid,

Agree with what you say Nereid,
I hear that, after framing the BBC with the Jimmy Savile/Newsnight debacle (the bulk of which was done by Meirion Jones using BBC money) and selling it to ITV, he has made an "Exposure" on Coronation Street that ITV are, understandably, not very keen to screen. So he has been trying convince the BBC to buy it.
This is UNCONFIRMED at present though.
What I do know is that when William Roache was arrested on May 1st (after MWT had repeatedly 'expressed his thoughts' about Roache's comments of March 19th), guess who had been pre-warned of the arrest by Greater Manchester Police and was there in attendance, taking notes? He was referred to in the media reports as "an ITV producer".
He is not happy at the support expressed by the bulk of the Coronation Street cast for both Roache and Michael Le Vell - and it is remarkable how the Murdoch press has suddenly turned against the show too. (The "Street Of Shame" headline in The Sun last week being just the latest in a line of attacks http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/tv/soaps/5038997/Coronation-Street-Midnight-Tango-plugging-scandal.html )

Here is imo a useful snippet from the other MWT topic.
Mark Williams-Thomas started a company W.T. ASSOCIATES LTD.on the [b style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"]10th June 2007[/b]
as well as another company MATTERS2ME LIMITED - which was also started on the same date.
Mr. Mark Williams Thomas and Mrs. Karen Williams-Thomas are both listed as directors of both firms.
Loopzdaloop already posted this info and much much more on page 5 of this thread.
I know - I re-posted this 'bullet' because the timing and the fact that both companies were set up on the same day just a month after 3/5 is an important fact in considering MWT's role.
It is indeed. Such timing!
From what I understand it was first set up as Matters2Me Ltd, and then the name was changed to WT Associates Ltd. on 13 October 2010. I wonder why. And of course they're still also using Matters2Me for their website.
Mark Williams-Thomas was an authority on chewing gum removal in a previous life. A huge leap form Chewing Gum removal to Child Protection.
"Mark Williams-Thomas from GumFighters said: “We are pleased to be working to create a cleaner and healthier environment for those living and working in the borough of Wandsworth and visitors. However it is very important that people realise the damage caused by discarded gum and dispose of it correctly.” [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Thanks for posting this! So it is definite he was strongly connected with gum fighters that sunk owing1.4million pounds! I wonder who the money was owed to? I'm assuming taxpayers due to that press release?
It might be worth following up his former compatriots from Gumfighters to see what it is they have been upto!
Gum to sexual offending is a bit of diversion career wise.
Very interesting also the post from the new members of the forum indicating that he was actually a PC in 1997. He clearly thinks of himself as a bit of a delboy with these differing situations that has led to accusations he has been looking for backhanders to prevent 'accusations' coming public. Unfortunately for him, he is clearly a trigger.

Thanks for the very interesting info ChrisRetro, Since Michael Le Vell was arrested I've noticed the Star newspaper seems to be printing the feel sorry Michael story it's the only paper I've seen giving so much support. wonder why?

Makes very interesting reading. Tells us that Mark specialises in child protection and major crime and is renowned throughout the UKs Police Force as well as the national media for his expertise in these areas.
Under the heading M W T Contact: If you know of a story or would like to get in touch with MWT - use the contact page. If you are looking for a motivational speaker, a chair for your conference or even a presenter for your corporate video then Mark can help. Mark can be booked through Men's Speakers website or via his agent at STH Management.
STH Management is based less than 15 miles from Rothley. Just saying!!
Then check out this from 2010. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
which also has his agent make an appearance.
This is how STH Management describe MWT.
"Most people recognise Mark as one of the UK’s top Criminologist and Child Protection Experts who appears regularly in the media providing expert commentary on stories such as the `Disappearance of Madeleine McCann’, ‘Shannon Matthews’ ‘Josef Frizl’ (Austria), the ‘Jersey Care Home Sex Abuse Scandal’ ‘Paedophiles on Twitter and Facebook’ and ‘Soham 10 Years On.’
Working on a number of projects for ITV, BBC and Ch4 he presented a two part ITV special called To Catch A Paedophile - this highlighted paedophiles grooming young people and distributing child pornography via social networking sites (and showed the Met Police catching them too). He has also presented On the Run for ITV in which he catches dangerous criminals. The programmes provided an informative and educational insight into some of the dangerous offenders at large in our community (broadcast Sept 2009).
He speaks regularly at the US Crimes against Children conference in various cities around the USA which are attended by in excess of 3000 law enforcement officers from around the world.
Bringing with him his wealth of hands-on experience Mark is able to provide a new dimension to many of the criminological problems facing today’s society such as how the police investigate major crime and the risk management of sex offenders in the community.
Prior to setting up WT Associates in 2005 Mark was a police detective specialising in major crime and amongst other things worked on or was in charge of some of the largest paedophile and murder investigations in the country. He was also one of only 10 specialist Family Liaison officers during his time with Surrey Police Force.
Regularly called upon to speak at and chair conferences and academic debates with reference to major high profile criminal investigations and the release of sex offenders into the community, Mark is also in demand to share with after dinner audiences anecdotes of his detective days and a behind the scenes look into television police dramas such as the BBC’s Waking the Dead and Inspector Lynley.
Mark’s consultancy WT Associates was appointed Child Protection Consultants to the 2007 Team GB at the World Student Games in Thailand and the British Olympic Association looking after Team GB at the Beijing Olympic Games."

...........................................................................................................
and this is a testimonial on the same website (there's only one testimonial)
"Mark`s talk was a fascinating glimpse into a world which is usually hidden and mysterious. To an extent he demystifies the world of police detective work, and he talks very well about his own journey to where he now finds himself and the pupils were spellbound by his detailed accounts of various cases he had been involved with as a police detective.
Some of what he has to say does not always make for comfortable listening as he draws from areas of crime whihc most people prefer to ignore or pretend do not exist (such as child abuse), but what he manages to do is communicate the importance of the work which some people are doing to catch criminals of a certain nature, and in a sense his lecture is reassuring and one leaves with a sense of gratitiude that people like Mark put themselves on the line, to protect society`

so...from speaking regularly at the US Crimes against Children conference in various cities around the USA which are attended by in excess of 3000 law enforcement officers from around the world to the one and only testimonial from a school in Bath.
As an aside, the spelling errors in the STH website pages are their own - it looks like they're not into detail imo.

Jonathan King says MWT not involved in the case against him:
Just read this interview from some time ago. "Mark had left the force by the time Jonathan King was arrested"...
Yet there he is, popping me into his vile show about Jimmy Savile, claiming to be responsible for my wrongful conviction.
What a star. Really knows how to bend the truth.

Connaught Holdings Ltd mentioned alongside Gumfighters.
Connaught Holdings Ltd can be found in Middlesex and the Directors are non other than Mr and Mrs Janion, also of Gumfighters. There is also a Connaught Holdings Ltd in Co Donegal, Directors O'Donnell?? Not sure if this is part of the same Connaught Holdings or a different company.
Connaught Holdings was originally called Seabird II Ltd and again the Directors were Mr & Mrs Janion and the name Waterlow Nominees Ltd is also mentioned.

There is a Samantha Elizabeth Williams-Thomas who was born in 1976, in Warwickshire. MWT and his brother were born in Cambridgeshire, but MWT's father was born in Worcestershire, but all three above mentioned children share the same mother's maiden name.

Re: The Mark Williams-Thomas thread
I'm starting to worry about all these experts, what will happen to their careers when the truth comes out? Will they say they knew all along? The presenters etc, can say they were only doing their jobs and they were focussing on the human (victim) interest side of the case. But the experts, not so easy I would imagine.
And yes, like Marconi, I too believe it is coming to a head. If it were a whitewash it wouldn't have moved from review to investigation. The police must justify the money that has been spent so far and the need for more. This case will be scrutinized like no other, the mccanns made this global, the world wants an answer. My biggest fear has always been that it will drag on for years and years a la Jarndyce .v. Jarndyce, and keep a large number of people in employment ad infinitum.
However, the fanfare announcements of Scotland Yard suggest different. They are as aware of us, as we are of them. Ergo, they know that we are not a handful of lonely nutters typing away in our bedrooms, but intelligent, civil, individuals from all walks of life who represent the views of many.
For ANY abduction story to work, Scotland Yard must convince the world that the alerts of the cadaver and blood dogs were wrong. What impact will that have on every past, present and future case involving the use of such dogs?

I doubt that either Facebook nor The Daily Heil appreciate being double-crossed by Billy Bullshit.
Associated News, who publish The Daily Mail, also own about a third of the ITV shares.
It might be something else entirely, but does seem a tad coincidental....

Re: The Mark Williams-Thomas thread
So, viewers are missing the sound of Mark Williams-Thomas, and getting a factual programme about sniffer dogs instead. Fopr once, things are looking up!
It seems that half the world wants to air their views about Mark Williams-Thomas. Here's a selection of what some of them have been saying about him on the Anna Raccoon site.
Certain themes crop up regularly...
* Does haven't have the expertise he claims to have
* Has lied about his police career
* Has lied about other matters
* Has viewed child abuse images illegally
* Is pretentious and puffed-up
...and so on.
There's three particularly interesting observations below, which I've highlighted in red:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Everything’s ‘unspecified’ or anonymous with this guy. Why is this guy allowed to view ‘horrific images’, he is not a police officer !
And here is his personal spokesperson denying that it could even be possible to do this on Facebook – and yet there is Mark claiming to have done just that: Sylvia Tidy-Harris, a spokeswoman for Williams-Thomas, said that the article had been credited to the criminologist but had been edited from a telephone interview conducted with the former detective by a Mail journalist. He has never, ever said it was Facebook. We have told Facebook that Mark never said in any way shape or form that it was Facebook and it couldn’t be because you are not able to do that on Facebook. Mark knows the chief security officer at Facebook, they met in Dallas last year.” Tidy-Harris said that Williams-Thomas had been filmed conducting his experiment, originally done for another project, and had sent a link of the film to the Mail journalist. The film made it clear the site used was not Facebook, she said.
Must have been a different film eh?
Anybody want to take a bet on how long it will be before Mark Williams-Thomas removes that [embarrassing] Youtube clip [of MWT admitting that he was using Facebook]? - we do have a copy though….
Meant to say he does mention and show Facebook on the video too! Why would he as a civilian be allowed to view disturbing images if there were any? If that is the case he should be arrested…
Note the Mail says “now works as a criminologist” which is slightly different to actually saying he is one. I actually have a formal complaint with the ABC in Australia re MWT being introduced as a “criminologist and child protection expert”. They are very strict about false qualifications so we shall see just what his status actually is. I shall report back.
At the end of the Independent article:
“Asked why Williams-Thomas has not identified the site on which he conducted his experiment, she said: “The reason he does not want to do that is because he does not want there to be another opening for paedophiles to head straight for.” Aye, right. He was happy to name Facebook so that all the paedophiles could head there, but this other site can’t be named lest all the paedophiles head there. What’s that smell?…
“What’s that smell?…” Fresh bullshit.
And I have to say that my first sight of Mark Williams Thomas has left me in shock, horror.
So he views ‘horrific images’ of child abuse when he is no longer in the police and is only self employed yet creates a stink when someone from the Daily Mail claims to have done the same and more or less calls for them to be arrested?
Bet it was young girls wearing skirts he considered too short, lol…
Re: “If there are horrific images of child abuse easily accessible on Facebook why have Mark Williams-Thomasand the Daily Mail attempted to hide this fact from the world by insisting their investigation was not using Facebook?”
Because Facebook would have sued them, lol.
Nice to be called young though………..
Still Williams Thomas uses (rather unusually for a humble copper) a double barrelled name so he is bound to be credible —or is the double barrelled name another self generated puff as much of his CV appears to be viz (from the Daily Mail Article)
“I am vastly experienced in the field – I was a police detective specialising in major crime and worked on some of the biggest murder and paedophile investigations in the country, before gaining a masters in criminology and setting up a child protection consultancy”.
Talk about “hiding in clear sight”!
I find The Yew Seeker’s [i.e. Mark-Wiklliams-Thomas] tweets as fascinating as they are infuriating – he reveals his real hand all the time. His mock rage at Eddie Shah yesterday (done in order to set his dogs off of course) was very telling:
Mark Williams-Thomas @mwilliamsthomas 11 Aug
Eddy Shah is a disgrace. A child can never consent. Yewtree is not a ‘witch hunt’ it has given strength to so many victims 2 speak.
Mark Williams-Thomas @mwilliamsthomas 11 Aug
Eddy Shah has no idea of the detail of allegations being investigated by Op Yewtree agst suspects. Incredible he dismisses them as emotions
Excuse me, but why is a civilian privvy to a supposed confidential police operation?
Oh, silly me – because it’s HIS “police” operation, because it’s a SHAM investigation – dreamed up by him and his co-conspirators at The Met, the NSPCC and the tabloids in order to create precedents with the Jimmy Savile destruction derby. And on Twitter, this “child protection expert” spends an inordinate amount of energy defending accusations by grown women about ageing male celebrities.
Ditto his regular “criticism” tweets about the NSPCC, The Met and the CPS (etc) – designed to portray him as some kind of independent maverick ‘Superman’. Ok then Mark – of course I believe ‘yew’! Here to fight for the lickle childwen, he takes on everyone single-handed. What a hero.
Anybody with half a brain this charlatan has to have considerable backing from powerful organisations and individuals – no man is ‘maverick’ enough to know the finer details of police operations (let alone dictating their agenda), tickle the precise itches the NSPCC have by creating a new agenda of (phantom) ‘historic abuse’ and also infiltrate and quote the tabloid press – and well as running roughshod over as many television and radio ‘legends’ as possible.
He isn’t happy about with the Coronation Street cast supporting William Roache and Michael Le Vell with their historic charges – and, lo and behold!, the Murdoch press are ganging up on Corrie at any and every available opportunity. Just a coincidence though, yeah? (just a coincidence too that Greater Manchester Police are rivalling The Met with their appetite for the poisonous evergreen I presume)
I would LOVE to know just who WT Associates [i.e. Mark Williams-Thomas] have on their ledger books. It doesn’t take a Super Sleuth – even one of the level of The Mighty Mark – to imagine he’s on the payroll of News International and several other organisations I may or may not have already mentioned.
It could be just coincidence but the Daily Mail has a financial interest in ITV, the very program that commissioned the ITV exposure of JS. Could it be possible they have a vested interest in not discrediting the mighty MWT? So many questions that need to be answered.
Then they might not be too pleased by the rumours that MWT is making a programme about Coronation Street stars and child abuse……?
Not heard that rumour but I do find MWT a very dangerous man with only his own interests and agendas as his motives. He has very little regard for anyone other than himself. In my opinion exposure should never have been made until the allegations had been proven (in a court of law) rather than using it as propaganda to spread speculation and innuendos. MWT uses these programmes to further his own career using vulnerable people to pursue his own agendas and pocket.
My point exactly, if it cannot be proven in a court of law then no programme should have been made, the dead cannot defend themselves and each man or woman in this country should have a right to defend themselves in a court of law in front of a jury of their peers, not publicised for the manipulation and career benefits of MWT.
At first I thought a possible explanation was that MWT wanted to disguise the fact he used Facebook and rather use the more general ‘Social Networking Site’ to prevent legal issues, rather like Newsnight thought talking about ‘a senior member of the Tory party’ would get them off the hook for libel. However, after reading a bit more, it is clear that MWT is talking utter nonsense. He must have either lied to someone, or did indeed find such images on Facebook but did not report them to the authorities. I suggest the
former is more likely.
“Williams-Thomas was reported as even having utilised his police training by taking notes of his 24 hour day and who he had spoken to at exactly what minutes of that day. “
Gosh! Is he going to be in the dock for exposing secret police training..?
From about 40 seconds into the video: “I loved my time in CID…” So why did he quit so after early in his CID career?
It seems from doing some basic research regarding policing that if you are facing a disciplinary hearing within the police you can avoid an investigation by politely retiring from your post, that could be one reason why somebody who has stated that he ‘loved his time’ in the CID would suddenly quit so shortly after his promotion? The other possible option is that he was pushed after being charged with blackmail (I must note he was acquitted in court of law of this charge).
I totally agree with you MWT should not be able to look at or or child abuse imagery, it makes me sick when he tweets about viewing such imagery…he is no longer a police officer so he should do what all civilians do if they came across these images…report them to the police!!!
So, the question(s) is/are: why did MW-T, following the March 2010 debacle, go ahead with a video about Facebook in 2011? Why haven’t Facebook heard about it? Is someone now bringing it to their attention?
I agree with all the comments about MW-T and his actions, too numerous to mention. But would just refer to the ‘why would he quit the police in the first throes of an exciting new role in CID’ question, and say that I too have always found that this is something that tends to happen to officers facing disciplinary proceedings. Someone suggested it came soon after his reported unsatisfactory conduct toward the family whose daughter went missing. I think the blackmail arrest and charge came after a little time spent trying to forge a new way to earn a living.
Your point about the dates is very interesting. He pushed the video the Youtube over a year after the DM story was published, and it directly contradicts his explanation for the error. What was he thinking? What is the point of the video at all? This hasn’t been noticed before because until today, hardly anybody watched the video.
“But would just refer to the ‘why would he quit the police in the first throes of an exciting new role in CID’ question, and say that I too have always found that this is something that tends to happen to officers facing disciplinary proceedings.”
I venture to say you may well be correct. Even if he left CID for innocuous reasons, in no sense can he be described as having had a good career there.
There may be a clue to his exit may be here in this tale (already highlighted by Anna in a previous articles’ comments)

Is Our Mark trying to project his little media game onto a dead man – the “predator” hiding behind a cloak of do-goodery, fooling everyone?
All I will reply to that, Chris, is that I personally have found it impossible to watch MW-T on tv since the spurious Exposure program. Can’t get the repulsive image of him sitting there (as a civilian and, to my mind having no business at all to be doing so) asking intimate questions of the alleged ‘victims’. Too creepy. Looked pervy to me.
Hmm, this may or may not be interesting, but I gather from the time of Rabbitaway’s first comment that this article by Moor Larkin went up sometime prior to 7:05 am today.
The tweet below by Mark Williams-Thomas, suggesting that young people don’t much use Facebook (the implication being…what exactly?) was posted around the 9:00 am sort of time.
I also looked on his soopah doopah new ‘international’ website, and can only see a tiny handful of videos available. Now I happened to look on the same website a few days ago, and noticed there were lots and lots of videos then. Either I aren’t navigating my way around the site properly today, or some have been suddenly removed.
It’s astonishing to discover that MWT has done socially useful work since leaving the police.
well spotted, whomever did the spotting. Yep, same person, so it would seem:-

It is very odd that MWT does not want to give the name of the social networking site he used. Although it might attract perverts, equally they could be prosecuted and the site could be taken down.
This is interesting;

There is also a news article ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] dated 4th August 2007 called “Child protection system ‘failing’”
In it Mark Williams-Thomas says in paragraph 5 :-
“Mr Williams-Thomas, a former police detective who runs a child protection consultancy, has spent 15 years in the field, including working on the Sarah Payne and Jonathan King inquiries”.
The enquiry into the murder of Sarah Payne was a Sussex Police enquiry as she was abducted in Sussex – The Deputy Senior Investigating Officer was Detective Chief Inspector Martyn Underhill who does not remember Mark Williams-Thomas who was a SURREY Police officer (NOT CID) and could not be involved in a Sussex Police enquiry. Sara Payne has also said that she did not remember Mark Williams -Thomas being involved either.
MWT is claiming 15 years experience in this article too and as it was written in 2007 he must have started in Child Protection in 1992.
When he made the programme ‘To Catch a Paedophile’ why was he allowed to view images at Interpol? He is not a Police Officer nor does he work in Child Protection. Nor has he EVER worked in Child Protection. Freedom of Information should be used to get to the bottom of the lies.
@ MWT is claiming 15 years experience in this article too and as it was written in 2007 he must have started in Child Protection in 1992. @
According to the duedil reference earlier he was born in 1970, so he was 22 in 1992. I think you have to be 18 before joining the police and reading around you can expect to have about two and a half years mentoring before even becoming a Constable, but I guess that two years into Constabulling you might be attached to some sort of child protection unit; I guess any police-person by the very definition of the job is protecting children.
Clearly all of us will telescope our experiences to put ourselves in the best light but it seems odd that with all the fuss about CRB checks etc., organisations seem to just take these fellows at their word and not even reflect slightly upon their claimed qualifications.
Looks like he’s starting Celebrity Yewtree now btw…..
What price a Question Time-esque audience/panel discussion – preferably on live TV – where members of the public could put questions to MWT & Co about the Yewtree “investigations”?
“EXPOSURE – ONE YEAR ON” should get people tuning in for a chance to wave those flaming pitchforks.
And what a surprise when it turns out the audience contains a decent-sized, vocal number of people who have actually researched a “case for the defence” and aren’t afraid to dish out a grilling over the shaky foundations of the Savilegate “prosecution”.
After all, if the gent who is the subject of today’s post is sure in his convictions, he can’t reasonably refuse, can he…?
Oh Dear.
Mark Williams-Thomas @mwilliamsthomas 3m
Frustratingly my prog ‘On the Run’, which was due to be shown tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 has been postponed for legal reasons
Oh, no why could that be???????? Will MWT be making his own headlines I wonder?
ITV.com just comes back with “Page Not Found” when you try to look it up… Oh me, oh my!
I’d be interested to know why this has been pulled. Could this be another Newsnight-style “cover-up”?
Or could it be a question of evidence – the real reason that infamous Newsnight special never went ahead?
I’m likely the one person here who has actually had a rather long telephone conversation with Mark, back when Fiona first went fishing on the social network sites for other Duncroftians who might step up and support Karin Ward’s peculiar book, and, like Anna, I was completely taken aback by the allegations these women were making. My first reaction was to simply disbelieve it. Mark told me that everyone was entitled to their own opinion and that was his story and he was sticking to it. I went public, so to speak, that I thought this was a gigantic hustle, with the Savile Estate squarely in the cross hair. I got raked for that, banned from some little Duncroft FB page they had set up – selling t-shirts and coffee mugs, if you can believe it – constantly attacked on Careleavers and Friends (or is that Fiends?) Reunited, by what appeared to be a very small amount of people with a lot of false identities. I tried to give these harpies the benefit of the doubt, and tried to believe what they were claiming, but the truth always comes out – Bebe Roberts and her specious claim to the Mail, Fiona and the forged letter for starters – let alone Fiona was communicating with me under a false identity, which was inadvertently revealed. Fiona continues her campaign against me, or was until recently. Now, hoist again on her own petard, she has fallen silent.
Once you tell a lie, all your statements become suspect, then you might fall victim to your own nonsense. Thus it has always been.
One of my favorite cautionary poems from the pen of Hillaire Belloc:
Matilda Who told Lies, and was Burned to Death:
Matilda told such Dreadful Lies,
It made one Gasp and Stretch one’s Eyes;
Her Aunt, who, from her Earliest Youth,
Had kept a Strict Regard for Truth,
Attempted to Believe Matilda:
The effort very nearly killed her,
And would have done so, had not She
Discovered this Infirmity.
For once, towards the Close of Day,
Matilda, growing tired of play,
And finding she was left alone,
Went tiptoe to the Telephone
And summoned the Immediate Aid
Of London’s Noble Fire-Brigade.
Within an hour the Gallant Band
Were pouring in on every hand,
From Putney, Hackney Downs, and Bow.
With Courage high and Hearts a-glow,
They galloped, roaring through the Town,
‘Matilda’s House is Burning Down!’
Inspired by British Cheers and Loud
Proceeding from the Frenzied Crowd,
They ran their ladders through a score
Of windows on the Ball Room Floor;
And took Peculiar Pains to Souse
The Pictures up and down the House,
Until Matilda’s Aunt succeeded
In showing them they were not needed;
And even then she had to pay
To get the Men to go away,
It happened that a few Weeks later
Her Aunt was off to the Theatre
To see that Interesting Play
The Second Mrs. Tanqueray.
She had refused to take her Niece
To hear this Entertaining Piece:
A Deprivation Just and Wise
To Punish her for Telling Lies.
That Night a Fire did break out–
You should have heard Matilda Shout!
You should have heard her Scream and Bawl,
And throw the window up and call
To People passing in the Street–
(The rapidly increasing Heat
Encouraging her to obtain
Their confidence) — but all in vain!
For every time she shouted ‘Fire!’
They only answered ‘Little Liar!’
And therefore when her Aunt returned,
Matilda, and the House, were Burned.
Am I being slow, or just missing something here?
“At 19.48 hours on Tuesday 9th March I sent amended copy to the interviewing journalist at the Daily Mail in which I had made small but significant changes to the copy she had sent to me which I read at 19.21, including removing the word Facebook ….”
“Williams-Thomas insists that he was not using Facebook but had been using another, unspecified social network.”
So he did use Facebook, originally wrote the story with Facebook in it, decided later he’d better change that in case he got sued, then pretended he’d never said Facebook, (he didn’t do it, it wasn’t him, he wasn’t there, and he has a note from his mum to prove it which he wrote in his little black book, back-dated, when they started to sue him – so there!)
At what point is someone going to shut this pathological narcissistic liar up?
His programme’s been pulled at the last minute for “legal reasons”… Sure DLT would have something to say about that!!!
“The team uses a false name – Lucy Cooper – to befriend him and gain access to his friends and pictures. Mark , a former police detective, says: “Through the Facebook account, I made the decisive breakthrough. I cultivated a contact close to Persechino. This person knows some of his movements since he went on the run.”
Interesting in the light of yesterday – here is Mark back on Facebook posing as a woman again……
It’s getting to be an unhealthy habit!
@ here is Mark back on Facebook posing as a woman again @
Let’s hope one day he gives us some facts. Just the facts ma’am.
Whilst I’m not by any means a regular visitor to his twitter site – this did make me smile
Mark Williams-Thomas @mwilliamsthomas 7h
Astonishing : Armed PC who had sex with woman while on duty keeps his job – because he could still reach gun.
I wonder if his ‘gun’ was near his hip on on one of them fancy shoulder holster things – I don’t know why folk are complaining – perhaps they wouldn’t be so cross if he’d shot her instead
MWT is a bona fide pillock, on the evidence presented here… but then we already knew that!!
“Pillock”? You should hear the views of ex-policemen who served with him, who regrettably I’m not at liberty to identify for obvious reasons – they aren’t nearly so complimentary about him!
* Is pretentious and puffed-up
...and so on.
There's three particularly interesting observations below, which I've highlighted in red:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Re: The Mark Williams-Thomas thread
It begs the question why ITV engages him without verifying his qualification/credential claims?

There must be a reason.aiyoyo wrote:It begs the question why ITV engages him without verifying his qualification/credential claims?
This poster was close to the Mark (geddit?):
QUOTE

Re: The Mark Williams-Thomas thread
I have concerns about MWT. Why would a "professional" person, who appears to be involved in undercover crime, show his hand, constantly, on Twitter. I've said it before, and I will say it again, MWT is so far up his own behind, you can see his eyes at the back of his throat when he yawns. What IS his Twitter page for, other than for him to overplay his achievements. If MWT's work is a serious as he brags it is, shouldn't it be kept OFF social network sites? Moreover, it may be just my opinion, but he appears to have an unhealthy obsession with paedophilia

I'd just add to that by saying: "For ANY 'abduction' story to work............there first HAS to be.... an 'abduction'!
