What we have learnt from the April Jones case (well, I already knew this and I suspect a few others too) is that a child's body can be disposed pretty quickly even when the world is watching. Within 24 hours of April going missing, Mark Bridger was arrested and there was an extensive search for her yet in the time before his arrest, he had murdered April and disposed off her body. And he was working alone. No saying, just saying.

And now they are more openly saying he dismembered her, burned the bones and dumped the flesh, as we had worked out a long time ago.
Foxes and crows would to the rest. There is nothing more to be found.
The remaining fragments of bone are being held so that the family can at least have something to bury .

It's just been announced on Sky News that Jim Gamble of CEOP is going to give an interview at 6.30 p.m. regarding April Jones.

I can't wait.....(not)!

He's as bad as the McCanns, never misses an opportunity, on the back of some very sad, real case. Where's he been for the past 6 months, I can't recall him saying anything before on this case.

We had worked out the other case that is also SO obvious yet the pair still have staying power with the Press that they can even wheeled out a granny for purpose and the Press will kowtow to them.

And I thought Catholic Priest is not allowed to divulge regardless whether confession was made in a box or not; after all there is no such thing as a confessional box inside a prison.

It does say in the article that it was a Catholic priest.

I've watched one of the special programmes on the case. It does seem to me that nobody could have foreseen that this could happen. There was nothing in Bridger's public persona that gave warning that he was capable of doing anything so awful.

In English law incidentally a Catholic Priest is not permitted to to refuse to testify. They are compelled to do so.
But it is recognised that they will then refuse, and will be sent to prison for that contempt.[/b]
Interesting that the prosecution chose not to bother with it. The so-called confession did not add anything to the case.

You mean even if the confession was made within sanctity and secrecy of the Confessional, a Catholic Priest is still obliged to comply with the Police by UK law. Interesting!

The Police must have made use of that info nonetheless since they spent a lot of time searching the river as it was said he told the Priest he dumped the body into the River.

Did Police at this post verdict stage leak the "Priest" info to the Press or where did the press get hold of such info - strange.

That he was a social person friendly popular and whatever did not make an ounce of difference because psychopaths or sociopaths are capable of masking their private persona well in some cases.

We know of another case where the mother is suspected of having this disorder. But she also happens to be from a different social class and manages to build a shield surrounding her (so far).

That is the law. But the observance is different. The prosecution recognises that the Priest will refuse, and if necessary will go to prison, so they don't bother.

This case in question, although the prosecution did not use the Priest to testify, the fact remains the Priest broke the Code of sacred covenant if the Press is to be believed.

One would have thought a Catholic Priest is forbidden by their Faith Silence Code to divulge irrespective that he's required under the country's law to attend Police interview.

Also, for argument sake, one would have thought if the confession was not made within sanctity of confessional, the Priest would have and should have pre-warned confessioner that his confession is not within confine of secrecy of confessional.

April Jones: Mark Bridger Attacked In Prison

The man jailed for life for abducting and murdering five-year-old April Jones is attacked by another prisoner at HMP Wakefield

Child killer Mark Bridger has been attacked by a fellow prisoner less than two months into his whole life sentence.

The 47-year-old, who was jailed in May for abducting and murdering schoolgirl April Jones, was slashed with a makeshift blade during the attack at HMP Wakefield in West Yorkshire.

He reportedly suffered facial injuries and was taken to a local hospital where he was given stitches.

A spokesman for Her Majesty's Prison Service confirmed a prisoner had been injured and taken to hospital during the attack, which is now being investigated by the police

Bridger kidnapped April before sexually abusing and murdering her and disposing of her body last October.

He was given a whole life sentence by judge Mr Justice Griffith Williams after a jury found him guilty following a month-long trial.

April had been playing with friends close to her home on the Bryn-y-Gog estate in Machynlleth, Powys, when Bridger enticed her into his car.

Following his arrest, detectives found numerous indecent images on his computer.

HMP Wakefield is a high-security prison which houses an average of 740 male inmates, many of whom are serious sex offenders

The press are still saying there was no body.
They are missing the point.
In some cases there are no traces of a body, whatsoever - see above, Mrs McKay - except perhaps an alert by a cadaver dog - see previous cases
In this case there were remains, bone, fragment of skull, and lots of blood, sufficient to identify the girl.
The fact that the rest of the body was disposed of, (bones in the wood burning stove, and probably the flesh stripped off and taken out into the country in the black bin liner, to be disposed of in the river, or by natural fauna,) is not the same thing.

Sad thing is no matter how much he suffers it doesn't lessen at all the suffering that little girl went through till she took her final releasing breathe. I hope he lives to be 100 and suffers every day of his life and that his final breathe takes him to a far worse place than his hell on earth.

I see that the Jones family was at Downing Street last week - certainly not the in-your-face coverage that a visit by a certain other couple would have generated.

I am at least grateful that one or both of them didn't barge in!

On second thoughts, they would not want to gate-crash cases like this which demonstrate the almost inevitability of a child's fate at the hands of a paedophile. No being treated like a princess......
