Yet another false abduction report at The Downs Primary School in The Hides

POLICE have closed their investigation into allegations of an attempted abduction from a Harlow school playground after establishing that no offences had been committed.
Officers were contacted just before 3.50pm on Monday (October 1) following reports a nine-year-old girl had been “grabbed” while she waited in the playground of The Downs Primary School in The Hides.
But after specially trained officers interviewed the alleged victim today (Tuesday, October 2), police called off the search for suspects and dropped the investigation
A force spokesman told the Star: “Specialist officers from the Essex Police Serious Crime Team have thoroughly investigated reports of an accosting at The Downs Primary School and have now established that no offences were committed.
“Police are no longer looking for any suspects.”
