Freedom of Information Act requests to Leicester Constabulary

Far to long to post here but the breakdown of requests answered to those not are as follows.

"30 requests were received under the Freedom of Information Act regarding the Madeleine McCann investigation. These were responded to as follows

Denied = 9
Outstanding = 1
Satisfied – 2
Satisfied and Denied – 1
Satisfied and Information Not held – 2
Neither Confirm Nor Deny - 15"

So what is the FOI Act for?

Are discussing now Freedom of Information requests , and persistant requesters will be banned from asking , Have you requested a FOI ? you can call in and discuss this ,A caller has got through talking about Dunblane and Operation Ore
(second subject is about fossil fuels) incase you tune in

So what is the FOI Act for?

For show, to falsely represent the Government is democratic, when they are anything but.

It just means you have the freedom to ask, but it is their freedom to deny you the answers.

It's a just a sham. And the best part is: there is no authority (as in regulatory board) you can take your complaint to.
