Book Ban Overturned

I just heard that the book ban on GA's book has been overturned, on appeal.

The Tribunal da Relação overturned the injunction filed by the McCanns, against the book by former PJ coordinator Gonçalo Amaral. They ordered the immediate replacement of the book at points of sale.

Well, I have had proper confirmation it isn't true, Blonde - Havern's lot are decorating her site with every bouncing smiley they can find.

It's a law of nature, you know - the more bouncing smileys the nasties post, the more tears there are going to be before bedtime :D

I have a colleague where I work and her husband is a judge at the Tribunal de Relação in Lisbon. She says that some of the decisions made by other judges are incredible and her husband has no doubts whatsoever in overturning them. Therefore, we can see that there are some pretty weird decisions made by judges in Portugal. I see that the reasons given are well founded and it gives me hope in the libel case.

Has no-one in Portugal ever heard of the concept of the Official Secrets Act?
Do they all just blab off to all and sundry about official, legal matters?

Brilliant news. Let's hope that all of GA's assets, (as I understand it) previously seized by the court, will now be returned to him. And that the book, in English, appears on the bookshelves in time for Christmas!!!
