Sounds like the McCanns have given up all hope of any help from the Portuguese authorities in the continuing search for their daugher Madeleine.

Gerry McCann flies home today from Portugal after meeting his Lisbon lawyers and British consulate officials, but no cops.

Apparently, the family has a new team of private investigators which includes ex-Scotland Yard detectives and former spooks.

Intriguingly, I've been sent a port document which appears to show that a British Navy yacht was docked in the Algarve at the time Madeleine vanished in May, 2007.

Among those sailors listed on board is a name of a very senior Yard officer.

Of course, the yachtsman's recorded middle name is not the same as the top cop, but that hasn't stopped a frenzy of excitement among those Madeleine-watchers who continue to look for an establishment cover-up.

This looks like Martin Brunt was having a bit of fun at the expense of the increasing number of people flocking to Madeleine McCann discussion forums.

There was a Paul Edmund Stephenson listed. Some at the time may have thought that this was Sir Paul Stephenson, who I think at the time was either the Met Police Commissioner or the Deputy Commissioner.

Well, that all depends on when Madeleine McCann did in fact 'vanish'.

Who knows? The Royal Navy vessel was docked at Gibraltar, and it's a very short trip from there by sea to the Algarve coast.

Maybe the Royal Navy got a call on Monday 30 April or Tuesday 1 May to get a few people up to Praia da Luz to lend a hand with something.

That's interesting.

   Just speculating but there is a slight difference in the name just as there was a slight difference in the name of the person who first hired the Renault Scenic and Kates' cousin Michael Wright.

We know that a number of Government officials descended on PDL in that first week of May 2007 along with some UK police officers.

Is it possible that there was some adjustment to a certain drivers licence here in the UK and that the Renault was actually hired by Cousin Michael Wright in the first instance, before May 3rd,  Madeleines' body removed in the hire car at that time and then brought back to the UK in a yacht?   Probably wrong but, no stone unturned.

Sailing Yacht Discoverer, based in Gibraltar according to the Vilamoura Marina record in the PJ files is NOT a British navy yacht Brunty. Rather, it is registered to HM the Queen of the United Kingdom. 
Investigating this link, the yacht history, the yacht movements and those on board  MAY throw some light on something which must be kept very hidden. On the other hand, it may be another random coincidence.

It's cobblers on every level - someone's taking the pea eye double ess big time .  Her Majesty doesn't even own a yacht since Britannia was decommisioned.  In the interest of national security, I can just imagine HMY Naughticus dropping anchor at Luz marina, in the name of HRH.

I wonder just how many planted stories were released by team McCann to get the populace all in a froth.

With Clarence Mitchell at the helm as media monitoring skipper, quite a few I'll wager.

Divorced dad Paul, 58, has come out as gay and is to marry his partner.
Agent Adam Muddle told The Sun: “He (Paul) wants to talk about the scandal that happened on the Royal Yacht Britannia, which is where members of the navy were dismissed for being caught up in a gay orgy.

The Queen pulled him to one side and told him how disappointed she was and to find a nice girl and get married

“Paul was there. But he wasn’t arrested or subjected to any sort of criminal charges, because he was the Queen’s right hand man at that point.
“It’s believed the Queen pulled him to one side and told him how disappointed she was and told him he had to get back on the right track and find himself a nice girl and become married.”

Paul’s involvement in the orgy was first hinted at in letters between him and a former pal, Greg Pead, who once claimed the pair enjoyed a romance in the 1980s.

Pead also told a 2009 television documentary that Paul had been given an ultimatum by his royal employers after being cleared — settle down or find a new job.
In further claims, former butler Paul also intends to reveal details of a “predatory gay culture” at Buckingham Palace while he worked for Her Majesty as a junior footman.

THE Royal Yacht orgy was uncovered in February 1981 after military police found pornographic pictures of the crew during a search of the ship.
Initially five crewmen were ordered off the boat. A further six were later implicated.
The incident was shrouded in controversy as a full hearing was held behind closed doors at a military tribunal.
The names of those involved were never released — even after ten were found guilty.
A report on the incident was sent to Buckingham Palace.
Six men were later jailed after a trial for homosexual behaviour and disgraceful ­conduct. They ranged in rank from able seamen to a chief petty officer.
At that time, homosexuality was still a crime in the Armed Forces.

The Queen was kept fully informed of the disciplinary proceedings. Prince Philip was shown a special report on the case which was sent to Buckingham Palace.

He is set to tie the knot with lawyer Graham Cooper, 58, next month — after a decade-long romance.

They watched legendary diva Miss Betty Legs Diamond perform with the Funny Girls Follies. Other drag acts impersonated Lady GaGa, Liza Minnelli and Shirley Bassey.
A source said: “Paul loved every minute of it.”
It was also claimed he seduced a male pal of stargazer Russell Grant after they appeared on TV together.
Loyal Maria stood by Burrell but their relationship became so strained they eventually began leading separate lives.
She set up home in Florida while he returned to the family’s £500,000 home in Farndon, Cheshire, to run his florists.
The home, which was raided by cops in 2001 amid claims Burrell stole items belonging to Princess Diana, has since been sold.

In a joint statement released last year the Burrells said their divorce decision was a mutual one and they remained “the best of friends”.
Buckingham Palace last night refused to comment on Burrell’s claims that The Queen was aware of his presence at the orgy.
A spokesman said: “We never confirm or comment on reports of private conversations.”

What a greedy, sensation-seeking, money-grabbing loose cannon this bloke is.

Didn't he claim to have dressed Princess Diana's dead body? How can anyone believe a word he says?
