Martin Brunt- his reports on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann

Post by worriedmum on 03.10.14 19:41

Following Martin Brunt's doorstepping of a lady described on Sky news as a troll and his subsequent quote-

http://news.sky.com/story/1345871/evil-trolls-in-hate-campaign-against-mccanns

''Over the past few years hundreds of shocking messages have been posted by 'trolls' who believe - despite no evidence - that the McCanns had some involvement in the disappearance of their daughter in Portugal in 2007.''

I think it would be interesting to start a thread with clips from Martin Brunt's news reports on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.   How have the public arrived at their opinions on this sad case?  Why , if at all, is it different to report on a case or comment on it? Obviously I do not condone offensive language or threats.

I will begin with this clip, but please add to it so that there is a complete set of Martin Brunt's reports.

Despite no evidence?

Is Brunty having a laugh. There is loads of evidence and not a single shred of evidence of an abduction.

#mccann Scot Yard says it has identified "more than a handful" of suspects for murder of Madeleine McCann in its review of Portuguese case

TOO LATE BRUNTY, SCREENSHOT SAVED, in case G&K want me to go to court and testify against you.

Unquote - I don't know who saved the screenshot.

He just said MBM had been staying in the apartment for the best part of a fortnight. He also mentioned that the police believe the parents  one or other of them, played a part in their daughter`s DEATH.

Since Brunty sees nothing wrong with doorstepping tweeterer, I wish  journalist from another paper would doorstep him to ask him about some of his tweets. Especially of his latest tweet why he'd used the word "murder"?

That would be par for the course and he can't complain about it.

Maybe a tweeter user can ask him why he was trolling the McCanns?
Also ask - are people free to behave as him, stalk him and doorstep him to ask him the question why he trolls the McCanns?

Trying to use the OfCom complaints site ..

Post by Searcher on 05.10.14 23:23

What a time I've had trying to enter a post on the OfCom site.  First of all, it changed all the quote marks and apostrophes in my post, into 'amps, amps, amps ..' and it then shot up almost unreadable 'spam' codes to re-write, which I had to do six times.  Almost as though they would rather nobody bothered ..
which of course cannot possibly be the case.spin
