Hi Nick, yes, that's how I understand it now.
You'd have thought Brenda would have been best suited to the 'McCann's and the Police' film and the 'Untold Story of Madeleine McCann' about Madeleine - which could then have been published some time ago if all that's holding it up is reference to Brenda's death, which has nothing to do with Madeleine's death anyway.
Just saying...

I don't believe 'the Untold Story' was ever intended to be about Madeleine McCann's disappearance per se. Trolls and trolling was, is and will always be the focal point of interest to Ms Poulton This is the teaser uploaded on YouTube back in October (that month again) 2014 that heralded the long awaited documentary ..
It's quite interesting to note that Ms Poulton refers to herself as a national and international independent investigative journalist and broadcaster. I wonder she didn't broadcast her own Untold documentary and cut out all the mercenary middle men. As I'm sure I've said before, YouTube is likely to attract a far wider audience than mainstream media.
What's another hour or three after three and a half years wait

Curiouser and curiouser...if she or her tech's can upload a whopping 'McCann's and the Police' doc then surely she can do the same with the Untold Story?
Anything to get the story out there, surely?

Re: Sonia Poulton: The McCanns and the Police
I don't wish to be needlessly critical of Ms Poulton (gulp!) and her production team but why yet another teaser, as opposed to the real deal?
I've just read, from a source close to the documentary, that uploading (YouTube?) has taken considerably longer than anticipated. Then why announce the end product before the end product is ready for launching? Would you announce the launch of a ship whilst still bending the bow - or before emptying the bilge?
I'm a bit confused - is this mini documentary a precursor to the long awaited 'Untold Story', a sort of fill-in teaser of what's to come (or not as the case may be) or is it instead of the 'Untold Story, still pending sponsor negotiations? If all other legal implications have now been resolved, leaving only Brenda Leyland as the proverbial fly, why wasn't the documentary promoted on YouTube in the first place - with the Brenda Leyland angle in situ.
I reckon this is a race for time, see who can get in first with an anniversary party pooper.
Seriously, I'm really looking forward to this documentary

Re: Sonia Poulton: The McCanns and the Police
From memory, Richard D Hall first UPLOADED and then PUBLISHED his first Madeleine McCann documentary and ONLY THEN made an announcement about it.
That method saves an awful lot of unnecessary embarrassment.
I wished Sonia well, and publicly, when she first announced her documentary.
But since then, all her actions have been CONTRARY to the truth about what really happened to Madeleine McCann.
To name but FOUR:
1 Giving Stephen D Birch a half-hour platform on TPV to spout his rubbish about what happened to Madeleine McCann
2 Giving barrister Michael Shrimpton a half-hour platform on TPV to spout his rubbish about what happened to Madeleine McCann
3 Deliberately arranging for Rosalinda Hutton to occupy most of a two-page spread in the Sun in 2014 in which she discredited the entire body of McCann-sceptics by boasting about being "an anti-McCann troll who gets a buzz out of squishing people on Facebook & Twitter", and, last but not least
4 Referring constantly to CMOMM and its body of researchers as a 'cesspit'.
She has a lot to answer for.
But if she produces even one, new, worthwhile contribution to this mystery when and if her documentary is published, I shall give her due credit for it.

Sonia Poulton
Just watched part one of Sonia Poulton's documentaries,it certainly leaves an awful lot of unanswered questions of the Officials involved in Madeleine McCann's disappearance.
Note the way of all the MP's when asked simple questions refused to answer then had the Plod to apprehend the questioner of what they were doing?
As Colin Sutton has stated about suspects to the case, perhaps that was the"Ultimate Accolade"that If the former named Arquidos were to be finally"Exonerated by Official Police Inquiry" the Madeleine McCann case could then be determined on?
Perhaps it was a dangerous initiative to proceed to a "UK Review" of the facts of Madeleine McCann case, but the ECHR Defamation case began in 2008, that the Family had taken against Mr Goncalo Amaral.
If the Family had Won their Case in January 2017,Operation Grange would have by now been closed Down, now Note when Sir Bernard Hogan Howe decided to step down as the Metropolitan Police Commissioner,as Sonia Poulton stipulates!
Note the statement of Assistant Commander of the Metropolitan Police Mark Rowley,Not suspects 2017,then very quickly departs to another section of Policing in and around London?
An awful lot of time has been spent carefully calculating deciding what steps are to be taken in the procedures of Both the ECHR Defamation Trial and the outcome of Operation Grange, the ultimate "Throw of the Dice" No Double Six needed to take the top Prize?
Well done Sonia Poulton and let people hope that the investigation can uncover what may have happened in the Death of Mrs Brenda Leyland, with those very Nasty person's openly targeting her,Big Jim,Martin,Gerry and fragrant Bernard, who never did prosecute the individuals sending malicious texts to Mrs Leylands Twitter,Facebook accounts, well her "Account isn't secret anymore is it" Martin **nt?

Re: Sonia Poulton: The McCanns and the Police
What a terrible let-down this 45 minutes was.
Much of it was ‘talking heads’, the most prominent of which was ex Met Police DCI Colin Sutton who, let’s recall, has developed on TV recently two theories about what happened to Madeleine: that she was thrown down a well, or was that she was abducted for a North African family. Of course Sonia didn’t mention that – it didn’t suit her story.
At 43 mins Sutton said “there should be a reconstruction” and the police should “use the remaining money to go back to ‘Ground Zero’ - so that the McCanns can be eliminated”. Oh dear. Oh dear.
And there was Sonia here, Sonia there, looking important as she went helter skelter from one location to another without any connecting narrative. Her references to ‘secret documents’ she had unique access to made her seem ever-so-important.
So much was left hanging in the air. Sonia told us that the Smiths had identified Gerry McCann on the basis of him walking down the steps of a plane carrying Sean and that he had told Gemma O’Doherty that he was still sticking to his story.
Any one unfamiliar with the case watching this would thing: “What? So is Sonia saying that the Smiths saw Gerry McCann running off with Madeleine’s dead body at the very time the alarm was being raised?” It was almost as of Sonia was deliberately trying to undermine the ‘early death’ theory.
I couldn’t see anything new in the film and there was precious little analysis.
People chosen for interview were Rosalinda Hutton, best known as an anti-McCann troll, a former Detective Sergeant, David Machin, who shed no light on the case, and Pat Brown who, as we know, believes Madeleine died after 6pm on 3 May 2007, contrary to the evidence. Of course, there was no reference to the evidence about when the ‘Last Photo’ was taken.
Sonia at one point referred to the case being treated by Operation Grange as ‘a live murder investigation’ [23 mins 30 sec] - but this was a white lie at best. It may have been the ‘Homicide and Serious Crimes’ Department of the Met that was investigating the case, but this does not mean by any means that it was a murder investigation, and surely Sonia must know that.
There was nothing in the film to suggest any possibility that Madeleine may have died in the McCanns’ apartment. I’m sure I won’t be the only one to notice that there was no mention of Martin Grime’s police sniffer dogs, for example – let alone the provisional conclusion of so many CMOMM members that she died four days earlier.
She dwelt on the neglect and ‘leaving the children all week’ with only a bare reference to ‘some people’ who doubted this.
Why was this film made at all? Surely it was purely to promote Sonia Poulton? But maybe it was also made to put people off the scent, so to speak – to sow doubt about the validity of the ‘early death’ theory.
I guess we will have to wait for Part 2 to see if there is anything more in these films than that.
