‘Detectives have explored dozens of theories since she vanished, including allegations she was kidnapped by a paedophile gang, killed during a botched burglary or snatched and sold by child traffickers.

But despite 9,000 potential sightings all over Europe and even further afield the police are no closer to solving the mystery.

Mrs McCann said recently: 'Nine years. Time just goes too quickly. It's the quiet times that are tough. Times when you are thinking about her — or something related to her.

'The urge to look for Madeleine absolutely hasn't changed at all. You hear all the time about people who have been missing for years being found. There have been so many cases like that.

'We will never give up. You couldn't settle if you thought about giving up. I want an end, an answer. Whatever that it is.'

A Scotland Yard spokesman said today: 'The Operation Grange team have considered the recent media speculation but we are not prepared to discuss our ongoing investigation to discover what happened to Madeleine McCann.'

I am always fascinated by Hobs' analyses of interviews. The bolded sections intrigued me. Hobbs, can you help please? Anyone?

I hope Hobs pops in too.

Mixing YOU, WE & I in three small sentences like that must mean something.

My take on it is as follows:

Time just goes too quickly = I am very concerned that we have now gone over the deadline for when M can officially be declared dead.

The urge to look for Madeleine absolutely hasn't changed at all = We are not prepared to allow any presumption of death despite the time lapse - the abduction theory is still the only outcome we will allow to be considered.

We will never give up = this is our conscious intent that we need the world to perceive.

However,
You could't settle = betrayal of uneasy conscience regarding continuing to promote the charade of continuing looking........... which she is not prepared to own............... therefore she resorts to attributing the thought to "not looking" rather than looking for a non-existent abductee and also distances herself from it by directing it at and attributing it to the public at large.  However, the anxiety of keeping the truth repressed becomes too much so she then expresses her true feelings in "I want an end," = a bit too risky - could be interpreted as suicidal thought or a wish to be found out so it could all be over so she quickly corrects herself and converts it to "an answer." It still troubles her to acknowledge the fact that they are hiding the truth, therefore the final bit is garbled "Whatever that it is."

TM never mention the obvious, demanding that the abductor is found. That's the key, find the abductor and you'll find Madeleine. Simple, why do they not state that?

‘Detectives have explored dozens of theories since she vanished, including allegations she was kidnapped by a paedophile gang, killed during a botched burglary or snatched and sold by child traffickers.

ONLY UK 'detectives' that is!

What 'theory' UK 'detectives', and McCan't 'hired PI's', have NOT, apparently, 'explored' is that:

1. Madeleine McCann died in apartment G5A at the Ocean Club, in Vila da Luz, on the evening of the 3rd of May 2007;

2. An abduction was simulated;

3. Kate Healy and Gerald McCann were, 'possibly involved', 'possibly' with 'others', in the concealment of their daughter’s cadaver;

4. Death may have resulted from a tragic accident;

5. Indicia of neglect in the guard and safety of their THREE children.

WHY UK 'detectives' haven't, apparently, 'explored' the 'above'.. 'theory'.. is very 'odd', imo.

NO 'paedophile gang', NO 'killer burglators', NO 'child traffickers'!

JUST Madeleine's .........'parents'!

10th February, 2010, (a full YEAR, before OG was 'instigated') G McCann: "Where... where, you know... where is... where... where is... where is... where is the child? We're looking for that evidence. Where is the child? What OTHER explanation can explain how she's not here?"

Yes, indeed, OG, WHAT 'other' explanation ('theory') CAN 'explain'.....'how she's NOT HERE'?

According to the report published by the Sun last week, about Theresa May overturning the decision to wind-down Operation Grange, Hogan-Howe was quoted (as in ".....") to have said..

There’s been a lot of investigation time spent on this terrible case. Everybody wants to know if she is alive and if she is where is she, and sadly if she’s dead then we need to give some comfort to the family.”

Ask the dogs Bernard - the family already know !!!
