Ayla Reynolds was reported missing - abducted - by her father.

All the evidence points to an accident to Ayla at best, or a deliberate killing at worst, in his house.

The case is covered by the U.S. programme Crime Watch Daily -in an upfront style a million miles away from the way we do things in the U.K.

There are four parts to it:

1. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Peter Hyatt appears in the last two minutes of the second video above.

There are differences from, but also many similarities to, the reported disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

It's the only clip of Peter Hyatt in action I can find on the net.

Dr Martin Roberts: "The evidence is that these are the pjyamas Madeleine wore on holiday in Praia da Luz. They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"

Amelie McCann (aged 2): "Maddie's jammies!".

I do believe she was murdered by her father; the abuse was blatantly obvious! How do people get away with it, the lies etc even blood splattered in the garage was shown to be Ayla's,even after clean up!? If I remember correctly a blood mix with someone else's?  Her poor mother and this poor baby did not deserve this, he is one sick individual along with his family who no doubt played a part or in covering up? Why the Child services returned her to him is madness, that baby girl would be alive today if they had not done so!
Thanks for posting, just on many crimes on children that go unsolved and unpunished!

Peter Hyatt references the fathers mothers actions also towards Ayla's mom, where she accuses her and then abruptly turns away.
Interpreting the "past" tense ( by the father) I don't think I've heard the McCanns say "was" etc  only DP in his interview but stand to be corrected.

Best comment ... "Wouldn't pass the straight faced test" big grin

This mini debate on the blood is worth a watch, check out 4.06 where the grandmother holds hope for Ayla even after all of that blood???

This is really sad. Heartbreaking.

When the reporters asked him about the blood and he wouldnt comment on it, was that Aylas mother standing beside him and helping him out? Im not sure but it looked like her, I was wondering why she was having anything to do with him if imdeed it is her.

And there is or was a Facebook page for Ayla as well.
Not sure that Peter Hyatt has anything much out there online except his blog site?

Peter has only just started on this programme so we may well see more of him in action.
I keep hoping he will restart his radio shows again where he has interviewed several suspects in cases (usually a parent) getting them to use the process of free editing when answering his questions and letting us see the deception.

Billie jean dunn was on a few times, claiming to have left sean adkins yet in the background you could hear typing thus we knew he was with her and viewing the chat room to see how we were reacting and responding.

Justin dipietro telegraphed his intent in regards to Ayla claiming he feared she would be abducted, also taking out a life insurance policy on her with him as the beneficiary should she die (she was allegedly 'abducted'  a few weeks later) this was unexpected as normally the parent(s) insure themselves and the children are beneficiaries.
No life insurance policies were taken out on any of the other children.

We still don't know if the policy was paid out.
Since insurance investigators are highly trained, often in statement analysis it is probable he still hasn't tried to claim or it was turned down.
