This letter was sent to me again today and I can't see it on the forum, so am posting it again, just in case.

Most strange that this has been sent to you again today GEG.

I know it's 12th tomorrow but why 2 . 5 years after it was sent.

Do you think something is going to be revealed soon?

Did the sender ever receive a reply?

Well, we know Missing People have dropped Kitty as a Patron, and he's in the news again now that his file has been sent to the CPS.

I've just taken a look at Missing People's patron page and yep, Cliff Richard has been removed. It's not the first time he's been removed from that page. He was removed and reinstated and has now been removed once again.

Whilst we're speaking of the Missing People charity, I'd like to point out how absolutely dreadful their profile is in terms of conning the public into giving money to them.

If you have a good look at their home page it's white people showing their grief at a missing person within their family. If you take a look at the missing people on their website there are very few white people.

If you take a look at the people supporting Missing People with choirs, fun runs etc, they are white people. Now before anyone shouts me down as racist....the majority of people shown on Missing People's books are non-white and yet MP chooses not to give any profile whatsoever to the families of these people. I'm probably not explaining this very well other than to say there is money making mileage in appealing to white people to contribute to their charity. What this charity does is beyond me - and I've read their entire website. All I can see is a silly - yes, silly - load of missing people profiles, download a poster etc.

The majority of children missing on Missing People are non-white and come from London yet their website shows concerned white people.

There is something strange and weird about Missing People and the patrons it attracts.
Almost as if it were set up for a purpose. The people involved seem to belong to the wider 'Team Mc Cann' . They all have a stake somehow
in ensuring that Team Mc Cann is ok.IMO.

Just been glancing through 'Missing Peoples' missing list - would be hilarious if the subject wasn't such a sad one.

The fact that the charity posts entries such as the one below sums up their work (or lack of it):

What is a missing person? What about the hundreds of US servicemen who disappeared during the Vietnam war, for example - at least they are genuine missing cases. What is this charity's criteria?

Missing persons shown are duplicated; mostly missing from countries other than the UK (and not British citizens); some are 'missing' with a parent; and, vagueness helps, of course.

What exactly does the charity do other than act as a very poor database of random, worldwide 'missing' persons? (If I was that way inclined, I could probably set a similar 'charity' up in a day or two. I could then sit back and pay myself a handsome CEO salary. Money for old rope. Only thing I lack, is the gullible connections/celebrity mates).

How is Missing Persons actually helping to trace or re-unite anyone?
