Several weeks ago , a family member who is like myself connected to the national press , wrote to his local MP re the costs incurred and the , unorthodox methods applied by SY in trying to establish the facts which go against basic policing principles anywhere in the world . ( even the Emmerdale storyline the murder they question the family and last person to see the person first ) .
Without naming the MP , or revealing the full content of the letter . A reply has been received, stating that ( I the MP will give a full reply to your concerns . Once I am in receipt of that response I will post it online withholding the names of both party's or if not applicable I will abridge the answer . This MP has been contacted before so he is up to speed .
I'd love parliamentary privilege to be applied re this matter .

I think we would all love to see PP being used, but that aint gonna happen in a zillion years.   They have had 8 years to do that and no-one has dared to do it.

I wrote to my MP a couple of years ago about the case when the costs of the Review were much lower than now. Sent a lot of material and thought I made a good case that the police should look at the parents.  Also made the point about the money being much better spent on other things and I named some constituency issues where cutbacks was affecting services to local people.
Got a reply but he very unsatisfactory and he wouldn't do anything.

Suggest members write to their MPs and ask them to ask a Parliamentary question = the second part of Lord Black's question that was not answered ie what criteria is used to determine whether to continue the review and how much to allocate.  I think MPs have to ask questions if requested by constituents unless of course the question is offensive.
