McCann Investigator Gary Hagland’s trip to Saturn with aliens

Earlier today, Richard D Hall wrote:

“The McCanns’ own private investigator, Gary Hagland, believes in UFO's. He has even written a book about his own experience with a UFO”.

Bearing in mind that Gary Hagland was employed directly by Brian Kennedy for the first six months of the McCann Team investigation (September 2007 to March 2008), worked alongside Kennedy in a Knutsford house that Kennedy bought as a base for the investigation, and on his own admission worked closely with Metodo 3 and helped the McCann Team plan and direct their Moroccan operations, the revelation by Hall that Gary Hagland believes in UFOs is more than interesting.

And that’s because he actually believes he has had TWO UFO experineces, the second time being abducted by aliens to Saturn.

I have actually found my way to Gary Hagland’s book on abductors, which is titled: “UFO: A Saucer full of Secrets”. As far as I know, it’s only been released as an e-book so far. He wrote it under the pen-name ‘Mason Horsburgh’. The use of ‘Mason’ in his pen-name appears not to be an accident.

In the book, Hagland explains how at the age of 12, his parents, who lived and worked in Singapore, sent him to a boarding school in Surrey. He felt abandoned. As an impressionable teenager, he turned to thriiler-writer Denis Wheatley and ufologist Erich von Daniken. Both Wheatley and von Daniken were very interested in the occult. And the occult is a theme which comes up many times in connection with the Madeleine McCann case. Wheatley’s book: The Devil Rides Out made a big impression on him.

He had his first UFO experience at the age of 13.

This is part of his account of that experience:

Flying at 35,000 feet for seventeen hours each way, twice a year, frequently induced in me a heightened sense of the missing something as I looked down on the planet in its natural, magnificent splendour. The Apollo astronauts experienced a heightened version of this on their way back to Earth from lunar orbit, seeing for the first time the whole planet as the iridescent blue orb it is.

The light show Worden [U.S. astronaut] experienced as he orbited the Moon was enough to convince him it had to be all or nothing. Either there was no life out there, or the cosmos must be teeming with it. He says it led him whether to wonder whether it was possible that human beings are the descendants of alien beings who visited Earth in the distant past…

Right then, atop the freezing school field, that same sense of psychic resonance I felt at altitude on a Boeing 707 was rekindled as the svelte object grew in size, its intelligent glide-path bringing it ever closer to where I, alone, stood - Graeme long since gone.

A deep sense of care flooded through me, as the display began. The craft was huge. By reference to one of the football pitches, Culmer, I estimated it to be as long, and by reference to the woods, at a height of roughly three mature conifer trees – about 108 metres, or 360 feet. It was ellipsoid in shape, as emphasized by its matt silhouette against the pitch-black sky. A faint glow against its centre-line appeared, instantly morphing into a kaleidoscopic strobe display of intense coloured light, colours of the rainbow, running to and fro along the centre-line. Dominant pigments were azurite blue, celadon, malachite green, olive, yellow, fallow, nacarat, cinnabar red, carmine, cinnabar violet, agate and violaceous, all randomly pulsating a rate of about 6 cycles per second.

It was almost identical in its display to that of the colour-themed contact of the mother UFO in Spielberg’s iconic Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the 1977 film based on real recorded events. [Mason Horsbugh had his experience in 1966]. The craft came closer, slowly, its size reducing the sky’s backdrop. The colour intensity became more pronounced. The craft angled itself, edge-on to me, at 45 degrees, dipping down at the front…It wanted me to see it. Then it reversed the motion, showing a dark underside lit only as a collective dim hue from the flashing lights. It then slowly gained height, dipping away over the horizon-line, arcing down over the woodland. A bright orange glow suddenly flooded the woods; either it had landed or it had crashed; whichever, it was down in the woods!

Hagland went on to a career in Hong Kong Military Police, where he worked for the intelligence services. Of this time in his life, he writes in his book:

In 1979, I was working as an intelligence analyst in Hong Kong. It seemed that my evolving intuitive prowess had impressed others…I worked in a covert intelligence cadre within a secret intelligence unit. The operatives selected came from relative obscurity, tasked to counter an unconventional but major threat to Western interests: Triad.

At the same time, my interest in matters ET only growing, I joined the Tucson based Aerial Phenomena Research Organisation – APRO. I became its representative in Southeast Asia. I regarded it as a hobby. Having a top-secret security clearance courtesy of my work, doors otherwise shut to the UFO researching community or the enquiring public, were open to me.

Hagland left the Hong Kong Police and spent some months with friends in Sussex, before qualifying in the emerging fields of money-laundering and financial compliance. His expertise in this field led to him being asked to write articles on the subject and to his being employed by law firm Wragge & Co to advise on money laundering issues.

It was during this initial spell back in England that he had his second major UFO experience, this time being invited by aliens to join him on a quick 2-hour trip round the solar system, down to Saturn and back.

This is part of his description of that frip:

The inside of the craft of my experience was metallic in a matt aluminium-like finish. The interior of the craft was divided into levels; how many, I’m unsure, but I was on the middle or upper level. Sited here were control consoles and three or four small seats seemingly designed for child statures, a central column, and an engine/reactor/power source that also extended to the level below where I stood. The entire interior of the craft was like the exterior, of dull ‘aluminium’.

No sharp edges existed, each corner having a radius, as though the entre interior was formed together as one strip, one piece; like one large piece of seamless sand jointless metal. A cross-hatch-like opening in the floor enabled access to a lower level. The interior wall/skin of the craft slope upwards to its centre from the outer edges. The sloping inner wall/skin had gently blue-glowing archways, with a hint of purple, around the interior of the craft. External visibility was exceptionally clear and direct. Bluish markings or lettering appeared by the archways, sometimes bright, sometimes dull, but always there and visible. They reminded of hieroglyphs. As I ‘intuitively understood’, the craft was propelled by a noiseless and powerful oscillating high-voltage electro-magnetic field that produced, through the ‘lens’ design of the craft itself, a gravity field out-of-phase (anywhere from 0 to 180 degrees), with the prevailing gravitational wave….In space the craft travelled not in a linear sense, but by bending the fabric space, and so time. Einstein was right.

I guess that the moral of this story is that any journalist, tempted to ridicule Hall for his belief in UFOs, ought first to read Gary Hagland’s/Mason Horsburgh’s book on UFOs, and then ask her/himself whether or not a better story might be to ask why the high-powered team of the McCanns, Edward Smethurst, Head of the government Media Monitoring Utit Clarence Mitchell and Cheshire businessman Brian Kennedy chose an expert in money-laundering, who also claimed to have had a whistle-stop tour in a spaceship to Saturn one summer evening, to lead the search for missing Madeleine McCann.

Or maybe that might not fit the mainstream media’s agenda on Madeleine’s disappearance.

For me, though, the whole Hagland book on UFOs sheds light on one of the key characters employed by the McCanns.

I could only find one rather cryptic reference by Hagland to his period with the McCanns, which obvioulsy he didn't want to mention openly.

He wrote this:

Mason Horsburgh, interesting nome de plume. There is a Horsburgh Lighthouse in Singapore, its foundation stone was laid in 1850 with Masonic ceremonial honours.

Very interesting, given that Hagland and his parents were in Singapore for many years in the 1950s and 1960s.

I did a name check and came up with, amazingly, one other bloke called Mason Horsburgh.

The choice of the name ‘Mason Horsburgh’ as a pen-name is very strange, in view of the other Mason Horsburgh. I wonder if the other Mason Horsburgh agreed to have his name used or mis-used in this way?

I'm stating the bleeding obvious and it's been discussed hundreds of times but who recommended this person, who employed him, who paid him and who vetted him from the limited company?

The McCanns must be terribly unlucky to have procured so many corrupt/dodgy/less than credible individuals who bled their limited company's coffers dry and produced nothing. Their victimhood is boundless.

The Fraudulent Fund's solicitors, Bates, Wells & Braithwaite London LLP owe a clear "Duty of Care" and should have performed "Due Diligence".
They clearly did NOT.
Just as they LIED to me when I sent them a letter about M3 saying they would have Madeleine home by Christmas.

Is there anyone involved with the McCanns who is straight, honest and decent ?
Do the McCanns only employ people and companies who are dodgy,
or is it that having been associated with the McCanns, somehow their slime rubs off.
even otherwise decent firms like Carter-Ruck, (whatever you may think about what they do) end up giving what amounts almost to Perjured evidence in the High Court

Possible typo re Alford as the village is actually called Alfold and it does indeed have an Alfold House which fits the bill.

MADELEINE’S FUND - LEAVING NO STONE UNTURNED LIMITED

On 22 December 2007 I wrote to you concerning your part in the appointment and retention of the ‘Detective Agency” Metodo3, and specifically drawing your attention to the words of one of the principal investigators, to the effect that the agency was closing in on the criminal involved and that Madeleine McCann would be home by Christmas.

You had the courtesy to reply, and your reply included the sentences -

“We are advised by our client that reports in the media purporting to be from the investigators, which made claims as to when Madeleine would be found are inaccurate and misrepresentations of their views.
Our client has every confidence in the investigators who continue the search for Madeleine.”

In Mrs McCann’s recent book, ‘Madeleine’, she says specifically and in detail, that Metodo3 did in fact make this statement. I quote -

P. 283 “We have no doubt that M3 made significant strides, but unfortunately in mid-December, one of their senior investigators gave an overly optimistic interview to the media. He implied that the team were close to finding Madeleine and declared that he hoped she would be home by Christmas.”

It follows therefore that you were either kept in ignorance of the facts by your clients, or were deliberately misrepresenting the truth on their behalf.

Since the management of the Fund is of great public interest and concern, I would be interested in your response to this.

Where would Madeleine's Fund 'auditors', Haysmacintyre, and 'by association', Bates Wells & Braithwaite London LLP, who 'replied' on their 'behalf, stand 'legally' should the 'fund' be found to be 'fraudulent'?

for example: If the Fund was "set up" AFTER 'persons' knew the exact circumstances 'about' Madeleine McCann's 'disappearance' on 3rd May 2007.

"Fund" launched on 16th May 2007.

"Conspiracy to defraud the UK 'public' on a massive scale"?

"Conspiracy to pervert the course of justice"?

it's just my 'opinion' but there must be a few 'high profile' LEGAL 'firms/entities' (CR, HM, BWB) publicly known to be associated with the McCanns, who'd be absolutely 'ridiculously stupid' not to have 'somebody' in their 'organisation' go through the PJ 'files', 'fund' set up, etc., with a 'fine toothed comb' to satisfy themselves that nothing, NOTHING, is going to come back and 'bite them on the ass'

What are the 'legals' going to say, if, IF, 'this' IS all a massive 'scam' by, at the time, people who had, by all accounts, very little 'money' to their names?

Would the 'legals' all be deemed to have 'willingly aided and abetted, been willingly complicit with' participating in a MASSIVE 'fraud'?

Saying 'they never told us that, we didn't know that, we didn't actually bother to check that, we believed, unreservedly, what our clients told us" isn't, i suggest, going to stand up as 'excuses' in a court room, should it ever come to that.

The 'legals' must satisfy themselves, totally, that the 'fund' they are 'associated' with, is beyond reproach and, was NOT, diliberately and consciously, 'set up' 13 days AFTER 'people' possibly 'knew' what had 'happened' to Madeleine McCann on 3rd May, 2007

Are they, the 'legals', 'absolutely certain/sure' the circumstances about the Madeleine 'fund', set up, is totally 'kosher'?

Because if it isn't, then.................. fan

But that is EXACTLY what Carter-Ruck did to TB, when Mrs Martorell stated, under oath, and on the record THREE times that Madeleine had been abducted,
only to have to admit, again on the record and under oath, that she had absolutely NO EVIDENCE of any such thing, and was merely cravenly repeating what her clients had told her.
Her clients being the two principal suspects in the disappearance !
It follows that Adam Tudor and other partners similarly had no evidence, and that there was none in the extensive C-R files.

Not to put too fine a a point on it, they were making it up as they went along, with the intention of silencing and if necessary bankrupting TB, at the behest of a vindictive and mendacious couple.

The exchange did cause Tugendhat J to muse about the legal situation if it could be shown that Madeleine had NOT been abducted.
But the case was about something collateral to this issue, and so was found against TB

think we can all take that with a "Pinch of Salt".
In other words we can say straight out,
Either she LIED,
OR
she is so professionally negligent and unutterably stupid that she would not research her subject in detail before giving a Sworn Affidavit in the High Court.
I would find the latter very difficult to accept.
The relevant parts of the book are a mere few pages. A half decent lawyer would con them in less than two minutes.
