Thus
If you suspect your child has been taken by a Paedo**** you should concentrate on the place most likely to contain a high percentage of such people.
The Vatican, for example

Or your xenophobia and racial prejudice might lead you to think that "Swarthy foreigners" were to blame, in which case you need to go to another country, ideally in another continent
Africa for example

SO – Did you advise the McCanns to promote news of the disappearance using the media?

AP says it wasn't his advice. The McCanns were advised by an organisation which specialises in missing people.

SO – What part does excessive publicity play in primary trauma? Does it increase the stress and the anxiety?

My question is: how and when? Because he says specifically 'promoting the news of the disappearance' which I take to mean the very early days.

Alan Pike was on hand very early - about six in the morning of the 5th, having arrived on the 4th.
He told the McCs also that they seemed like model parents to him.

Missing Persons - On May 24th 2007, Paul Tuohy re-launched the charity, 'Missing People' (previously known as the National Missing Persons). The event is alleged to have been instigated at the behest of the European Commission, spearheaded by former EC Vice-President and self-appointed 'Guardian Angel of Children', Franco Frattini. The event was attended by John McCann. Paul Tuohy is an ex-colleague of Ester McVey. Tuohy says it is peculiarly ironic that they should launch at the time Madeleine McCann went missing. Patrons include Lorraine Kelly (ITV)

OK, we're talking three weeks after 3/5/07 and they're all there, McVey, Kely and a political drive to promote the charity. Former Vice president no less. I apologise for the 'Guardian Angel' .........unprintable..... Frattini. I'd like to know more about him, was he best mates with British charities?

I'm sorry I can't give a reference, it was sent to me by a member some time ago and I've been unable to find the source which I think was probably a blog which is no longer online. Added to Alan Pike's statement under oath at the Lisbon court, I feel that Missing People get more interesting by the day. Not your actual missing people of course, just the charity.

Driving up the A13 in Tower Hamlets (London) last Sunday (26^th) and one of those TV screen advertising hoardings flashed up a ‘Missing People’ advert for a ‘Jack Slade, 17’, ‘missing’ from Durham since 10^th July.

Having a look on the MP site and his page has been whooshed already, so presumably he has turned up, but I can find no more info on the case.

No idea what those adverts cost but they can’t be cheap.

Was an advert in Tower Hamlets really likely to aid his return/finding and I wonder whether he had already been located?

I think the adverts are 'donations' in kind from advertising companies. Kate promoted one of these a year or so ago - so MP doesn't pay for these adverts afaik.

Pointless in any case, the one chosen for the launch of this form of advertising was found before the campaign launched, she absconded within days, most of the missing people don't want to be found imo possibly having run away from a home that may be more of a threat to their health than trying to make it on their own.

I feel there's a very real danger that abused children are brought back home. I'd be interested to know whether those reporting the missing are ever checked out.

his background is the legal world and he was pretty high up in the italian political ranks under berlusconi.

there is a complete industry of commissions, ngo's and charities around the world. but in reality joe public would hear of a missing kid through the police forces, or because family members start a social media campaign and from there what is ending up in the msm. it is not clear if the other parties really do something besides information exchange between each other, there is very little sign of true and active looking into a missing children at all. frattini is just another talker about this subject.

in the eu you see it a lot, some do a very lot of talking about anything that could bring status, but as soon as the get another subject, the are hardly ever will be speaking about it again.

there is also something from the guardian from the wik1 leaks reports:

He is a pro-Europe Briton, or at least a Briton who has fewer doubts about Europe, and this is important”. Under the Lisbon Treaty, which now only needs to be ratified by the Czech Republic, the president of the European Council will be elected by the council itself, made up of all heads of state or government, for a two-year term. Until now the Council president was the government chief of the country which held the EU’s six-month rotating presidency. The future Council president will not be allowed to hold any office outside the EU and it may be possible to merge this post with that of the president of European Commission, the EU’s executive arm. Premier Silvio Berlusconi has repeatedly come out in favor of Blair and on Wednesday in a letter to Il Foglio said he agreed with the right-wing daily which has come out in favor of Blair for EC president. I've been convinced all along it was something to do with Blair much more than with Brown! Not forgetting the European plans for a EU DNA database and who better to promote that than a honest to goodness Doctor who has had a child abducted!
I've heard talk of Gerry being first in line for European Representative of Amber Alert - still, none of that seems to be working - why not one wonders?

Does anyone 'know' if a KM/MP 'backed', SYP, CRA 'alert' was 'sent out' about 'missing' Conley Thompson?

If NOT, why not?

He was a 7 years old child, 'missing' from home.
