Pat.
I wouldn't say it was "fishy".
I would say it was very obvious.

How annoying, however - even Joe Public might wonder why that is news now and not five years ago, when next to nothing was heard from the T7.

I mean, it's a little late in the day to come to the aid of your 'dearest' friends, isn't it? If it's anything like the rogatories, SY are in for a treat.

Unfortunately I think Pat may be right. It's related to her going to Portugal Monday, and also Tony's trial coming up which has been publicised. I think Clarence has dragged out his worn out spinning wheel again.

Although he would have had a shock at the wording of the original headline methinks. laughat

Tigger, the headline said Tapas 7. Now Joe public had to have that explained to them several words down. It's not as if it's a well-known, in-your-face, handle is it! Given all the other news going on...snow..the Falklands...blah blah...this was a most bizarre headline. Who knows what was meant by it? I certainly don't. What I do know is that the Concordia disaster reported in the press has the captain called 'Captain Coward', and early on he was called 'Captain Calamity' but I suppose that was too vulgar and whooshed and who was in charge of that media release?

It's fishier than sean's fishy sea bass and stinks much worse..

It also reeks of desperation to me.. is this really the best they can do? Hide behind the lawyers and courts to try and silence those questioning their story, and never have it out publicly and confront questioners head on. The only thing they do in public is generate non stories to divert attention.

I suspect they have a big list of non stories ready to wheel out over the next few months when there is a danger of non favourable stories .... I can just see it now, if they get really desperate, and there is a danger of Pat Brown uncovers new leads type stories, well let's produce a picture of Kate in a big baggy jumper and start some is-she-pregnant rumours...

They just make me so sick and thoroughly fedup with the spineless media in this country.

Hi Stewie,

It is a sad fact that we cannot take anything at face value that pertains to the McCanns, and it has been thus ever since they first flashed across our TV screens.

The Met will continually run into a brick wall if they do not go back to square one and dig beneath the surface of the disturbing misinformation surrounding Madeleine's disappearance. The CSI blood and cadaver dogs findings in conjunction with the parents and friends' ever-changing version of events can only lead to one shocking conclusion (imho). flag
