Dr Martin Roberts: "The evidence is that these are the pjyamas Madeleine wore on holiday in Praia da Luz. They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"
Amelie McCann (aged 2): "Maddie's jammies!".

"The breaking evidence about Madeleine McCann will be revealed exclusively on Seven's Sunday night."
They have "breaking evidence" but decided to make a show about it instead of giving it the Police?
Why not give this breaking evidence to the PJ today? Why have the PJ got to wait til Sunday?
But then Maddie's been waiting for nearly ten years already, so a few more days won't hurt her.

The police may be aware of this new evidence, as they were with the Smithman efits? They might have authorised it's broadcast on sunday night?

Right...so it's not new breaking evidence, it's old breaking evidence in a new "breaking evidence" show.suzyjohnson wrote:The police may be aware of this new evidence, as they were with the Smithman efits? They might have authorised it's broadcast on sunday night?

There's a 'rumour' (don't 'ask' me, don't 'qoute' me, no 'names' no 'pack drill') that the PJ are possibly going to 'shelve/archive' their second 'investigation' (within 'days') and release their 'files', into the public domain, BEFORE the 'anniversary' on 3rd May 2017.
Then we'll 'see' the 'full co-operation, or not' of the UK's OG, 6 year 'investigation', with the Portuguese Police investigators, investigating a 'missing' child case, won't we?
Hope ex DCI Redwood and DCI Nick 'em are well 'hunkered' down!
Unlike 'Call me Stu'!
Can't wait!

Which begs the question why would Grange whitewash the case when they're fully aware that the PJ files will be released into the public domain?
Unless our government has interfered with their government again?

So let me get this right. The police, be they the PJ in Portugal or the Metropolitan police in the UK, are aware of 'this' new evidence and authorised an Austrailian outlet, with the help of an American self proclaimed criminal profiler (who incidently knows less about this case than many an interested party), to broadcast new evidence concerning the case of a missing child?suzyjohnson wrote:The police may be aware of this new evidence, as they were with the Smithman efits? That takes some sorting out .

Sunday 8.30pm | The disappearance of Madeleine McCann shocked the world.
The three-year-old vanished from her bed at her family's holiday apartment in Portugal in 2007 sparking a frantic search that would span a decade. The case was never solved.
In an exclusive Sunday Night investigation, Rahni Sadler speaks to those at the heart of the mystery; Madeleine's parents, the lead investigator, the forensic scientist, the criminal profiler...
This Sunday 8.30pm: Sunday Night's groundbreaking television event reveals major new developments in the case that has everyone asking... What happened to Maddie?

"I was just screaming: 'Madeleine’s gone, someone’s taken her!'"
This Sunday, Madeleine McCann’s parents, Kate and Gerry, reveal the horror of discovering Maddie’s empty bed in their holiday apartment in Portugal.
After ten years of questions, theories, false leads and wild allegations, a fresh line of inquiry has emerged – one that could finally tell us what happened to little Maddie.

They are speaking to those at the 'heart of the investigation'? New evidence?
Sorry I'm not buying this. Pat Brown is not and never has been involved in the investigation. I have never been convinced by her credentials, she has certainly never had anything official to do with this case. Her career is mostly offering comments about cases she has not worked on T.V. Her opinion is just as valid and open to the same scrutiny as anyone posting here.
as for the forensic investigator and lead investigator, just who do they mean?

The forensic scientist is the one from the C4 Dispatches, where they went and looked at 5a and mostly focussed on Madeline wandering away or being abducted. He also expressed doubts about the window though....
"Forensic scientist Dave Barclay will feature on the programme, calling the case "the most baffling" he's ever looked at.''

The breaking evidence has got to be the nanny who has appeared after the decade in hiding. The PJ have done a quick rehash of the timeline and discoveered that she is lying due to the fact there has never been an out and out sex attack in PDL. The police are anxious to speak to this woman to find out who has put her up to spreading this nonsense about rape alarms.suzyjohnson wrote:The police may be aware of this new evidence, as they were with the Smithman efits? I don't think so, the nanny is pure spin. The Australian channel are not interviewing anyone involved with the actual investigation so how can it be new evidence? Scotland Yard who have said nothing since Nicola Wall took over are hardly going to authorise a group of random 'experts' to talk about evidence on Australian TV.

I may be wrong but I suspect the "new evidence" will feature the Eureka moment of crechedad and the wider "window of opportunity" this allows. Combine this with the claim that police wish to speak to an Ocean Club worker who may have something else to add re. what he saw that day and that's about it. Someone like Pat Brown will express doubt about the likelihood of abduction and someone like Edgar/Clarrie will suggest she could still be alive. I wonder if the dogs will be mentioned? Hopefully this program will not mirror the earlier Aussi offering which claimed the police were slow to respond, watch borders etc. " Did you kill your daughter Gerry?... That's an emphatic no!"

According to the video promotion llinked by Tony, I quote.. "those closest to 'it' speak exclusively to Sunday Night" - but it's all clips of past events. Can anyone really believe this group of people, shown in the video clip, would speak exclusively to Australian broadcast Sunday night..
Pat Brown: Well yes, anything to promote a career
Clarence Mitchell: Willing for a shilling
Goncalo Amaral: Too much integrity and bigger fish to fry
Dave Barclay: Dave who?
Ex-DCI Andy Redwood: Andy who?
Gerry and Kate McCann:
It even shows a quicky of the sleeping Madeleine lookalike as featured in the Crimewatch 2013 re-enactment.

Rahni, ask KM, and Gerry, if you like, was the shutter, outside the kids room really 'jammied and smashed' as Gerry's sister, Trisha and Jon C, said it was, after phone calls from herself and Gerry, in the 'wee' hours of 4th May 2007, and that's how the burglator 'got in' to their apartment, G5A, to 'abduct' Madeleine.
Rahni, ask G&K, who was the very, very, VERY, last person to see Madeleine....alive.
Rahni, ask G&K, is there any other explanation, apart from 'abduction', that could explain why Madeleine is not with them, today.
Rahni, ask G&K, if they have been unequivocally cleared, by anyone, of possible involvement, in their daughter's disappearance.
Rahni, ask K, as she is an ambassador for the Missing People Charity in the UK, why she, and Gerry, WERE GLAD the police investigation into their 'abducted/MISSING' daughter, was closed, and IT DIDN'T MATTER to K if the police investigation, investigating HER own MISSING daughter, was re-opened or not.

Yes, editing is certainly my biggest fear too! It obviously depends on the agenda of the show and whether or not it's biased.
It would be good to see something open and honest, in which case viewers would need to be reminded of facts such as the parents did not search for their 3 year old daughter on the night she went missing; and Kate McCann refused to answer 48 police questions; and they refused to attend a reconstruction that would have gone all around the world! All this whilst the investigation was in its critical phase, and their child was allegedly in the clutches of evil.
The McCanns can hold up all the toddler pajamas they like, but there's no getting away from those damning facts that point to their scuppering the investigation. Then there's the blood and cadaver dogs that alerted to all things McCann. These are all facts that cannot be denied.

Rahni , ask Kate if she can clarify initially saying , shutters window and curtains were all Open . Later stating the curtains were Closed , wooshed in the wind and the door slammed .
Rahni , ask Kate if she can now tell us how she " knew , Knew Madeleine had been abducted "
Rahni , ask Gerry , as dogs are used t to detect cancer , epilepsy diabetes etc does he still stand by his dogs are " incredibly unreliable " statement ?
Rahni , ask G&K if they have paid the court costs yet ?
