where we find the Trademark application for the Fund, at para 4
List of Goods or services it states very clearly

List of goods or services

Class 16: Printed matter
Class 36: Charitable fundraising; charitable and non-charitable services relating to the provision of assistance to families and others affected by missing children.
Class 41: Non-downloadable internet publications

That is concerning that the name "Madeleine" had already been trademarked by Madeleine Mode GmbH in Germany and IPO was notifying this company of the McCann's trademark. Surprising it took to November to do that though.

This was filed by Bates Wells & Braithwaite, who must have known it was not, and could never be CHARITABLE.
They specialise in Charity work.
They know the rules, but they have still put down Charitable fundraising.
That is not true. The fundraising is NOT charitable. It is very specifically for the set purposes of supporting the family, and doing a few other things.

Why did they do it ?
