Not sure about the police carly, but Carter Ruck have been informed so they should really do something about muratfan, unless muratfan is right that is and they really do sponsor him winkwink

Actually, if muratfan is looking in again, it wasn't me who killed my husband it was Sir Professor Peter Bell who worked in Cardiology at Leicester Royal Infirmary. In fact it was this connection (with Glenfield Hospital) and the McCann's which made me read about Maddie in the first place.

As you will see if you look at the blog you will note that it took 18 months to save my husband after Prof Bell falsely declared him inoperable and terminal.

One has to wonder if they have spent their whole lives with pent up anger and no voice. The moment they have a forum to hide behind they explode. Thing is they are still voiceless and alone. They are so lacking in real life they can only live vicariously through their forum identities. It's the only way I can explain why they would target someone with disabilities or health issues. I was also outraged by the comment towards Jill about her husband. I am fairly new here and have just read up on the travesty Jill endured with her husband. I'm so sorry you had to go through that Jill. As for the rude poster shame on you. That really is below the belt. I believe in karma. It will come full circle.

Muratfan clearly stated that he was sponsored by Carter-Ruck.
We then are given to understand that Carter-Ruck were informed of this statement,
Muratfan then stated that he was not sponsored by Carter-Ruck.

Only one of those statements can be correct.
If Carter-Ruck intervened and told him to change the original statement that could be for two reasons
1 They were not sponsoring him, and wish people to know.
2 They were, and possibly are, sponsoring him but do not wish people to know.

Carter-Ruck have a fearsome reputation in the field of "management of facts".
Some of their 'successes' in obtaining injunctions or damages in court for alleged defamations have been shown subsequently to have been based on information which turned out to be, how shall we put this politely, inadequate or mendacious. Private Eye is a good source of examples of this nature.

So we are left in the position that we cannot believe anything Carter-Ruck say.
Nor indeed can we believe anything Muratfan says about his sponsorship or lack of it.

Wonderful. It has really added to the totality of the understanding of what really happened to Madeleine McCann !

It has been an unpleasant experience to learn of the depths that Murat Fan and his ilk will sink in their attempts to discredit others merely for having different opinions. Does it perhaps say something about our society? I'm thinking of recent instances where a mainstream comedian made very offensive remarks (intended to be funny) about disabled people and both he and the television company concerned have refused to apologise. I don't think it's surprising then that some people think that others are easy targets for their malevolence and spite. As for the rogue pro-McCann websites, let's hope that their contributors realise soon that, only those whose pet cause has more holes in it than a string vest, have the need to use vile tactics against anyone else.

Hi Jill,

I have just spent the last half hour reading your blog, which I'd never seen before, and which brought me to tears. I didn't know that your husband had died and I extend my deepest condolences to you. It must be very difficult to know that it need not have happened. My own dear OH had a hip replacement op this morning, under epidural anaesthetic. All was well until 3 hours after the op when his BP and HR dropped dangerously low. They had to stop the morphine, which was causing the low BP and he was in agony for a few hours. Long story but all is good now, thank goodness. I was feeling very sorry for myself after a traumatic day today and then I read your blog. Strange eh?

MF's posts are disgusting and never worthy of comment.

This Muratfan, who claimed to be sponsored by Carter Ruck cannot be the full quid.

If he is being sponsored by Carter Ruck it sounds like he nearly or maybe has bittten off the hand that feeds him.
If he isn't being sponsored by Carter Ruck then he has opened himself up to be legally challenged by Carter Ruck to save their name being tarnished.

Once again the lack of lawsuits shows a picture.
Like David Payne.
Like Jane Tanner.
Funny really when in a climate where the McCanns sue at the drop of a hat that the above people/firms decline to get involved.

Silence and non action sometimes reveals more than a reaction.

In my opinion his susequently whooshed claim to be sponsored by you know who was a joke. He clearly has a sense of humour, albeit savagely cruel and distorted at times, to be able to come out with all his pearls of wisdom.

Nevertheless he has said it. It remains said, and neither he, nor Carter-Ruck will be believed if either now claim it was not true.
In the case of Muratfan, who claimed to be sponsored by Carter-Ruck, because he is unreliable anyway, andf in the case of Carter-Ruck, because they will be seen to have a vested interest in denying it anyway, whether it be true or false. And because they have a long a fearsome reputation of taking to court issues which prove, on the subsequently verifiable facts, to have been falsehoods.
He has stuffed himself and Carter-Ruck.
