Wikileaks on Madeleine McCann - Wow - This could be interesting
Just seen this on MM ...........From Guardian.co.uk
5.09pm:
Around 100 suggestions an hour are coming through from readers suggesting subjects to search for in the cables database. We've set up a small team to go through them and so far the results look promising. Several people suggested searching for information on Madeleine McCann, the British girl who went missing in Portugal in 2007, for example. She is indeed mentioned in at least two cables from the US embassy in Lisbon. No clues to her fate, unfortunately, but some interesting observations on the involvement of British police, which we'll relay once we've checked them out. Similarly, lots of interest in the murder of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, who was killed in 2006 and is mentioned in around 70 cables. Other popular requests for more infomation include the private security firm Blackwater (mentioned 159 times in the cables) and several themes that have already been trawled over by Guardian journalists such as Bosnian war crimes, but which may be worth returning to on the basis of more detailed search suggestions. Please keep the ideas coming by sending tweets to @gdncables (preferably with details of dates and locations) and we'll try to respond as quickly as possible and keep you updated on the 'you ask, we search' exercise via this blog.

Hi candyfloss.
It doesn't matter if guardian.co.uk relays them or not. The whole point of Wikileaks is that the information is out there for anyone to see. No one has to rely on any third party to be their conduit. If you are willing to trawl through the cables and the information is there you will find it.

Thanks Cheshire Cat They must have already been released according to this from the Guardian

Wondering about this to
mentioned in at least two cables from the US embassy in Lisbon
I wonder though why the US Embassy in Lisbon was involved. Why America?

I think the Guardian may get early access to the leaks - they have a database ?
The Wikileaks cable viewer only has one cable for Lisbon so far (of no interest).
You can view all the cables released so far here : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It is possible to filter by 'Origin' which includes the Lisbon Embassy.

Could it be anything to do with the Baby Grace case? I am sure I once read that samples had been sent to rule Maddie out when they were trying to identify the body.

Ive tried to understand this, can anyone explain please?
Re: Wikileaks on Madeleine McCann - Wow - This could be interesting
Perhaps someone tried to find out from the US, if they had a satellite trained on Portugal at that time? Because If they did, they might have caught the real perps.

Exactly candyfloss. If the likes of the British Press could not be bothered to print the facts from the official Police files, what chances of we of having them print what's released from Wiki ?

Re: Wikileaks on Madeleine McCann - Wow - This could be interesting
I believe it will be an anti-climax and nothing significant will emerge of the US cable.
Maybe something to do with mccanns sending their lawyers to investigative accuracy of cadaver dogs!
Interpol were involved in the case, but it would be excessive to think it involved those from Uncle Sam's territory. But never can tell......

But all those forensic artists, who draw suspects from the descriptions of witnesses are always said to be FBI trained.
No one knows why, since they plainly are not. Most of them can't draw hands and feet and very few can do faces. Have another look at the artists' impressions, at the length of bundleman's arms, at pimpleman's cranial construction. Few of them could even pass for human.
(Sudden thought, what if they suspected an Alien. Then the USA would be interested.)

Ah! This may be the very thing that both McCanns know more about than we do. And why Gerald McCann has stated that the UK Government is aware that there are things he has kept quiet about, and not spoken of in public. This sort of stuff is always top secret and classified information.
If Madeleine was abducted by Aliens from outer space, and the McCanns saw the Alien carrying out the abduction, it would fully explain why the UK Government has afforded the Tapas 9 so much unprecedented help, and why the Clarence Mitchell machine is never far away from them.
As the UK teeters on the edge of bankruptcy, one would suggest that the McCanns and their friends had already caused the UK more than enough international embarrassment during 2007, and that they simply could not afford for the McCann story to escalate to such a state where they would have to engage in an intergalactic search. All this was at a time when there were not even enough small rockets to put up the backsides of some Leicester police officers.
If it was not an Alien abduction, one would suggest that we continue to applaud the efforts of the PJ, and keep looking at those people closest to Madeleine, to find out what really happened to her.
Although until we can fully rule out that the Tapas 9 had anything to do with Madeleine's alleged abduction, an Alien abduction is the only possible or feasible explanation for her not yet having been found on Earth despite the early mentions of a reward. (One never sees rewards being mentioned these days. Is the reward off the Team McCann menu these days?)
One understands only too well, how thoroughly embarrassing it would be for a group of doctors to have had to admit to the PJ that an Alien had been in 5A. The PJ could have accused them of being on drugs and all sorts of things. Because it would have been even more unbelievable than the unbelievable ramblings we have discovered in all their statements to date. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

An other thought.
If Wikileaks "solved" the mystery, would they qualify for the reward ?

Probably if there was still a reward My first thoughts when Wikileaks were about to release info was that the truth may come out.... still hoping.

Re: Wikileaks on Madeleine McCann - Wow - This could be interesting
AFAIK there is still a reward for producing a live Madeleine. That is an easy offer to make, because whoever makes it must know that there is very little chance of ever having to pay out. It makes good publicity, though.

We may have a long wait because so far less than 1500 cables have been leaked out of 250,000. But we don' have to depend on the press to report the leaks, they are available for all via Wikileaks. Who knows what secrets those dipolmatice cables still hold?

Thank you for this, soulthief.
Manning has risked his life and his family's lives to relay this information through Wikileaks. He is a true humanitarian, and if anybody deserves a Nobel Peace Prize, it is this young man.
To all of those posters and readers who have members of their family fighting on the front line in war zones, or working in intelligence gathering please bear in mind that thanks to Manning, they will be safer now. Our own Western governments have caused them more harm and forced them to take more risks than the 'enemy' ever could.
For every person you feel he has put at risk today, you must remember that throughout modern history, millions upon millions of people have already been killed in the name of war. They died with very little justification, and without their families ever having found out who killed them, how they died, when they died and where they died.
Nobody would ever have understood why until now.
Now that the warmongerers know they will be held accountable for their actions, Westerners fighting opressive States will be safer.
Those who declare a wish to execute Manning and Assange should be sentenced for the crime of withholding evidence of war crimes, diplomatic crimes and the crime of keeping the world population in the dark about war.
War is the biggest investment and money spinner for the largest companies in the world. It is the wealthy international companies and individuals associated with those companies who fund the political leaders to do their bidding.
There is no doubt that the bids and tenders for war on the Axis of Evil are in preparation. Watch the prices of metals soaring, and keep an eye on your cast-iron gates and grids.

This is only the beginning, but the ruling elite of individual nations, states, cities and towns are finally under the microscope. No stone will be left unturned to expose the war machines, the banking mechanisms and the social engineering 'projects' endemic in all societies. Only now, will the world populations truly understand the will to power and how the few impose upon the many.

Trouble is much of this information is only available if you have a computer and not everyone has, well obviously, silly comment woman [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I am horrified at the depths people will stoop and not bat an eyelid.
