- Mr. Gerry McCann, around 4:00 am Mayth, you phoned your father-in-law, told him that Madeleine has disappeared and the shutters of the room were she as sleeping were “broken”, “jemmied”. On September, your press adviser and spokesman, Mr. Clarence Mitchell, told RTE, a Irish TV channel, that “there was no signal of forced entry in the apartment”. Can you explain this contradiction?

- On May 5th, Mrs Jill Renwick, who talked with your wife, on the phone, around 3:00 am May 4 th, was quoted by several British newspapers, saying that Mrs. Kate McCann complained the you both have been looking for Maddie, “all alone” until 4h30 am. However, Mr Jonh Hill, manager of Ocean Club is also quoted, the same day, by a large number of British newspapers, saying that around 60 persons – Ocean Club staff, other guests, residents of Praia da Luz have been helping in the search of Madeleine, until 4:30. Again, how do explain this contradiction?

- On June 4th, on a interview with “Daily Expres” you said: “We want a big event to raise awareness that she [Madeleine] is still missing (...) It wouldn’t be a one-year anniversary, it will be sooner than that (…) I think it would be later this year”. How could you be sure the she wouldn't be found before the end of 2007, not even within a year?

- On the first week after Maddie's disappearance, your wife Kate McCann said, several times, to more than a dozen British newspapers, that the first thing that came the her mind (and also to your mind, Mr. Gerry McCann) was that she had been kidnaped by a pedophile network. Mr. Alex Woolfall, who was your press adviser for the two weeks after Maddie disappeared told "The Times", on September 2007, that during the first week he never heard any reference, from you or your wife, about a kidnaping. "The word used was 'disappeared", Mr. Woolfal said. Can you explain this 3rd contradiction?
