Paul Luckman, “Portugal News”: McCann are guilty of leaving the children alone
“I was there (at Ocean Club) at 9.30 am, next day, and everybody was there: regular police, Policia Judiciaria, firemen, Civil Defence, all resources were there and everybody was looking for the child” - this was the description of Praia da Luz, made by Paul Luckman, editor of Portugal News, an English-language newspaper published in Algarve, during a debate in a TV program, “Sociedade Civil”, from RTP. Paul Luckman said that “the parents are guilty of leaving their children alone” and criticized the fact that the McCann didn't used the baby-sitting service available at Ocean Club: “A baby-sitter costs 12 euros per hour...” About what happened the night Madeleine disappeared, Luckman admitted that an accident could be something “possible”, in theory. The editor of “Portugal News” said that “the McCann and his team should stop criticizing Portugal and the Portuguese police”, and they should apologize, “because it was their fault, all of this problem.” |

If they were working class the response from the British authorities would have been different.

They are working class. Anyone who works is working class.
Professor McCann is of Irish origin, a large working class family. Kate McCann is a middle Englander, from a working class family.
It ain't what or who they are - it's what they've done and who they did it with.

And when they did it.
Biggest question is why? And the coverup by so many people including the UK Government?
I cannot see that this coverup is taking place just because they are doctors or that it has anything to do with class. Everyone must have been protecting themselves, so what were they all up to that cannot be revealed?

The McCanns, as qualified NHS doctors became 'uber' class, under the Blairite labour government. NHS doctors could not be seen to be child neglectors, swingers or abusers of corporate 'jolly' entertainment courtesy of GSK (drug suppliers) in an out-of season portugese resort.
The British establishment was mobilised to cover up these excesses from the poor British voting classes.

What I meant to say was that due to their connections the Government seems to have supported them. If they had no connections the British Government probably wouldn't have put so much pressure on the Portuguese police.Verdi wrote:AJE wrote:If they were working class the response from the British authorities would have been different.

I remember Richard D Hall mentioning Gerry McCann had links to politicians. What I don't get is how did they get so many people involved and no one has let a word slip? Think about Murat, Lourenco, Krokowski, tapas 7 and so on. Every detail of this case disturbs me a lot.sharonl wrote:Verdi wrote:AJE wrote:If they were working class the response from the British authorities would have been different.

It rather depends on the severity of the crime - surely?
Do we have to wait for someone to die before a scapegoat is named? That's how the system appears to operate .
Many a criminal has been protected and allowed to roam free - until they die. Then and only then can the focus be on the deceased to detract from the living.
Think Edward 'Ted' Heath; Clement Freud; Jimmy Savile - to name but ten.
Why do people find it so difficult to understand why the establishment are compelled to conceal pandemic crime?

That Saville picture is so disturbing I don't think I can sleep tonight. I believe you are right the Government are specialists at deceit.
