Slightly fuller response I received today.
The Inquest has been heard and concluded. The Coroner gave the following findings and conclusion
Accidental Death
Mr Powell suffered a fall at his home on 8th January 2018 and an ambulance was called. Despite attempts to save his life Mr Powell died at 05:26 hours that same day whilst still at his home address. Police attended and found no suspicious circumstances and the post mortem examination did not reveal injuries consistent with an assault or third part involvement.
Another seemingly dubious verdict to add to the growing list.
If it was so straightforward why has it taken the police and coroner over two years to come up with this?

I think there are a number of possible explanations for this.
I consider that amongst the three most likely are:
1. The nearest relative - presumably 'Mrs Powell', or another - objected to the 'accident' scenario and demanded a second past-morterm and second opinions etc. which had to be resolved
2. There was a second post-mortem called for by the Coroner which differed in material respects from the first post-mortem and these differences needed to be resolved
3. He was murdered and this was a high-level cover-up.
The timing of this Inquest nearly two years and three months after his death and immediately after the coronavirus lockdown began IMO makes Option 3 very possible.

If you take a look at the current Surrey Coroner's list of upcoming hearings, there are several deaths that occurred over two years ago, including one in Decenber 2017. So, not unusual.

WHOOSH and the three hundred grand disappeared.
Was there ever a formal complaint to the cops? was there any snivelling to R Trace with a report appearing about how appalled they were? I may have missed it. If so would some kind poster share a link.
