Madeleine's mother in Portugal trip

Mother of missing Madeleine McCann, Kate, has returned to Portugal
Kate McCann this weekend has returned to Portugal, where her young daughter Madeleine went missing in May 2007.

Family spokesman Clarence Mitchell said it was one of a number of recent visits she had made to see friends in the country.

The mother-of-three from Rothley in Leicestershire, who is a devout Catholic, was seen praying in the Nossa Senhora da Luz church near where her daughter disappeared.

A small team of private investigators led by Dave Edgar is still looking for Madeleine.

The little girl was three years old when she went missing from her family's holiday flat in Praia da Luz in the Algarve, while her parents dined with friends nearby.


Judging by the comments on this article, are the public starting to wake up and smell the coffee?

This saga seem to have no end, all whilst the parents keep raking in the donations given by the gullible public, and the media that is starving for any news that can augment the sale of their papers...

This issue has become so stale and archaic that even the moth have abandoned their interest.

Perhaps MSN will reconsider their priorities and stop publishing scams as this topic has become known as...

I would never have left Portugal until I had found my daughter. Is this woman for real. She leaves her kids alone while she entertains friends. Don't get me wrong, her husband is as bad as her. Now she goes back to visit friends. If she had friends in the country why didn't she stay and organise a search? She already knows her daughter is dead that's why. Did she or her husband get cross with Madeline when they went to check on her and killed her in a fit of rage? Only they know the answer.

i believe poor madeline is dead, taken out to sea, mother should have some questions to answer, what father would play tennis 3 days after she went missing????????.
i as a father would be myself searching as many other 24 hrs a day.

For gods sake people these decent people are absolutely distraught by the disappearance of their little girl, yes i would have stayed and searched for her as well, but they were told by Portuguese police to leave the search to them. Madeline could well still be alive and i am absolutely disgusted as I'm sure many other people are to see these ridiculous comments, the McCann's had even re-mortgaged their house so that they would have the money for the investigation. This was a terrible thing to have happened and all my thoughts are with the family xx

Silly stuff aside; there are surgeons in the UK that would kill you to hide their mistakes- has anyone ever heard a surgeon say sorry for their mistake - or a doctor - here you have a brace of them.

Why not add this info to the list of "weird events" that surrounds this weird family...!!!

Have you ever considered the possibility that Madeleine was abused by friends and others in a secret group of Paedos who were involved with the McCanns!! All those pictures posed in somewhat provocative manner taken by non the less "Paul Grover" who is well known photographer in Presidential and Ministerial circles, the sexual innuendoes made by the group during their travels!! Are they hidden messages for the eyes of the involved!! It makes one think what has been going on behind the scenes!! All those high-ranking public figures pulling the plug on government investigations, for WHAT!! to cover their frolics!! I wonder!!!! DISGUSTING....

BIBA42 I think you are very close to the truth than even you might think...
And one thing i know... is that the people that travel to Algarve in Portugal during Easter season is normally Swingers (as wife swaps and group sex type of people.)

I have never understand the why this suspicious people is so well protected by all the high figures ???
And like some friends told me before is because the connections they have with the Masons...

I remember well the Portuguese police accusing the british police for contaminating and losing important peaces of evidence... just like if they went to portugal only to sabotage the investigation!!!

And on the Playing Tennis subject...
I ask why is that no one ever questioned the fact that the Tennis bag went missing but the tennis gear was left behind (no burglar robs your wallet and leaves your money behind)

It is a very sad subject that a child goes missing...
But this parents are too strange and they behaviour from the first day screams guilty in every single aspect...
They never bothered to help the investigation and they also so cruel by the fact they left the children on they own...
they have and are very interested in positive media for them self's like Jordan and kerry katona but not tolerant of any criticism and they very good asking for mo money...

one wonders if we have the ITV 2 show this year "What the Mccans did this christmas Next Chapter"

Sr Gongala Amaral didn't want this case archived but he was overruled. The McCanns' put up no resistance to the case being archived,in fact they seemed to welcome it. Why would any parents' want to see the investigation into their child's disappearance being called off? They have never tried to get the police in the U.K to investigate this case, instead they call in private investigators of dubious character.
Look at the photograph of them on what would have been Madeleine's 4th birthday. They are coming out of church in fits of laughter,especially Gerry,definitely not grieving parents.
They have not mortgaged their house, in fact they have used funds donated by a gullible public to pay their mortgage,also they are trying to claim half of Gongals Amaral's house but his wife is refusing to sell her half.
why aren't the British media reporting these things about them.



Of course, not all comments are critical of the McCanns but, nonetheless, it is encouraging to see the above posts on the MSN Hompepage

To Louise Star, you're talking absolute rubbish when you say the police told the McCanns not to search for Madeleine. The McCanns were asked in a television interview, if they had wanted to join the locals who had stayed off work to look for Madeleine and the holiday makers who had given up their holiday to look for Madeleine, along with the police, who had their leave cancelled to look for Madeleine. Kate McCann admitted they had never physically looked for Madeleine but they had been very busy in other ways.

The time that the McCanns should have looked for Madeleine, was before they called the police. They didn't, the called the media and their family before they called the police.
The McCanns were photographed in their jogging gear, jogging past the locals and holidaymakers who were looking for Madeleine. They were also photographed in their jogging gear, standing on top of a cliff, watching the police search for Madeleine.

The McCanns were also photographed outside the church on Madeleine's birthday, laughing and joking with the congregation. They laughed even more when they were photographed holding a cheque for a few thousand pound.

The McCanns have lied to save their own skins and if anyone looks at the terms of the fun, they will see that the McCanns are able to use the fund to eke out their living expenses. Clarence Mitchel their spokesman told the media that the fund is now helping the McCanns wider family.

The McCanns have done plenty laughing since Madeleine disappeared, but one day they will be laughing at the other side of their faces, when they are brought to justice, for their part in Madeleine's disappearance. It will happen, believe me it will happen.

Sorry if I say anything would unpleased people. So many questions unanswered? Leave your children under 5yrs old alone and go enjoy with friends? Any normal people would be punished. Girl disappeared, take one hour to call the police. Found blood in the room, windows thanks to the sniffer dog, not with naked eyes. If anyone's child is wounded, you care for the child most forgetting blood everywhere, you dont care cleaning the blood so neatly, even outside the window. Rent a car today and the next day you are flying to see the Pope, pulling all the media, attention with you, so other people or friends cover things in Portugal. Found dead body fluid, hair in the rented car after 15 days of Maddy's disappearance. Mother's clothes smelling of dead body, she is a doctor, she works with dead body. She doesn't wash her clothes while going on holiday? Wash the the teddy bear toy of Maddy instead of keeping it as it is because it has always been with Maddy. Again sorry people, it's up to you to judge for yourself.

I have Grandkids and it really is very nice when

they phone Me, I'm sure that Little Lady could

use a phone, i don't think her Memory, would

have forgotten her family, if she is not allowed
