Claudia Lawrence's mum Joan: Why we should keep searching for Maddie

I don't think you can put a price on a child's life
– Joan Lawrence

For ten years the case of missing Madeleine McCann has shocked, puzzled and divided the public like no other. Her disappearance sparked one of the most high-profile, and costly, police investigations of recent times with more than eleven million pounds spent so far. The fund was due to run out this weekend, but after a request from the McCanns for more money, Scotland Yard have given an additional £154,000 to keep the search going.

Claudia Lawrence's mum Joan thinks the search should continue to be funded, but as police will give no details of the lead - nor why it is proving so difficult to resolve, we ask is it time to move on and close the case once and for all?

A child's life?

A price was certainly put on Maddie when she was supposedly left in charge of her siblings late at night
, on a family holiday, so her DR parents could dine the night away!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Think about it dear Joan... purlease!

"I don't think you can put a price on a child's life" – Joan Lawrence

No but you can, or should, put a price on a bogus investigation into the death of a child, on the pretext of investigating an abduction - with not one fragment of evidence to support the hypothesis.

Gerry McCann has often reminded the people, there is no evidence to suggest the girl has come to any harm.  Well, it works both ways - there is even less evidence to suggest Madeleine was abducted.

You show us yours cool hand McCann and we'll show you ours - only we ain't bluffing.

I'm being pedantic.

You can't have less than zero evidence.

From PeterMac

Being even more pedantic,  Less than zero would imply a negative number, and the evidence we do have for what happened is therefore negating the abduction story.
It does not merely say there is No evidence.  It says there is positive evidence of the opposite.
If you see what I mean.
Time for another coffee !

Hi Verdi,so who are the Three jokers,Kate,Gerry,Clarence?
In the Film Cool Hand Luke,He had a hand full of Nothing,so if you have a hand full of nothing, you blag it out to the end or in this case exhaust the Funds as in the film,by the opposition, (spent by the Government),Not the Madeleine Fund?  Now there is a real deception,You open a Ward of Court documentation, when your child has been missing for Eleven Days, has this type of transaction been followed by other Missing children's parents?
