Re: Scotland Yard to Make announcement about Madeleine Mc Cann
From Joana's blog 2011
BRITISH detectives are to return to Spain to investigate a possible gypsy link in the disappearance of Maddie McCann.
A team from Scotland Yard have already spent three days looking into claims that the youngster was smuggled into Spain and taken to Barcelona.
They met with both Spain’s UDYCO organised crime unit and detective Dave Edgar, who has spent years investigating the Spanish claims.
Now they are reported to be returning to investigate the theory that she was snatched by a child kidnap gang run by gypsies.

Portuguese police have already investigated a report by holidaymaker [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that he had seen a girl resembling Madeleine being taken in a cart to a gypsy camp near Portimao, about 16kms from where Maddie disappeared.
Days later a British holidaymaker [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] saw a girl – ’100 per cent Madeleine’ – being dragged around by ‘gypsy women’ 35kms away.
Her information was followed up by both detective Edgar working for the McCann’s and Portuguese police, but nothing was ever conclusive.
The latest development is part of an on-going ‘investigative review’ into the girl’s disappearance in Portugal in 2007, ordered by Prime Minister David Cameron last year.
Last week, the McCann’s spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “Kate and Gerry welcome the on-going work by the Metropolitan Police and they are pleased that the investigative review is making progress.”

Yea lets blame the Gypsies that's different!!
Actually they should be called Romany's and this lead was followed up just after Maddie went missing....is that what we the taxpayer are paying 80 million for?

@ Sallypelt. "Was it Cinderella's carriage? Let's keep the fairy tale theme going, shall we?''
You would have thought someone would have noticed that parked outside 5a and maybe heard the jangling of their gypsy costumes.

Re: Scotland Yard to Make announcement about Madeleine Mc Cann
A horse drawn carriage? And they went to Barcelona?
I've been to Barca many times and as wild as Las Ramblas can be, I can tell you that a gypsy (or Romany) caravan clopping down the road would cause a stir (to stay the least).
But then they might have gone to Morocco, blithely going through frontiers and customs posts in a caravan, with a kidnapped blonde girl in the back?
I wonder sometimes at the contempt the gutter press has for the people, working class people, that they claim as their audience.
A contemptuous assumption that we are all stupid and gullible.
IMO, etc

Clarrie has cracked it - she's away with the raggle-taggle gypsy-o. Such Victorian melodrama! Joking aside all this blather went to peoples heads so much over here that the gardai went and nabbed a "non-national" child because it was blonde and had dark parents. Egg on establishment faces and lawsuits galore when the DNA showed they were the natural parents. Funny, I'm blonde and my eldest is extremely dark haired, eyed and complexioned. He now suspects I stole him from the gypsies. Kinda Maddie in reverse.

Scotland Yard to make an announcement.
Would any UK MSM Journalist, the next time they happen to have Questions for Clarence Mitchell and the Tapas 7/9,ask any of them.
Are you happy with the way that you have conducted your selves over the last Ten Years in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann?
Are you prepared to go back to Portugal and have your enactions of the evening of 3 May 2007,that you had previously had made written statements to both UK and Portugal PJ,where you, where on that date?

Well, with all the documentaries and stories they've put out in the media it's not as if they can have forgotten any of the details of that night is it?willowthewisp wrote:Would any UK MSM Journalist, the next time they happen to have Questions for Clarence Mitchell and the Tapas 7/9,ask any of them.

It must be as fresh in their minds now as it was back then.
Or perhaps all of them could just re-enact Peter's e-book.
Hmmm...maybe not.

Scotland Yard
Ah at last,Mr Mark Rowley can put his feet up and enjoy a few hours away from the Office,on the Bank Holiday. Mark decides to watch a film to help him relax,it was an odd but appropriate film he chose to watch, especially concerning his recent"Comments"to the Press on Operation stGrange, hazard a guess to the film Mark Rowley watched?Get'emGonçalo wrote:Well, with all the documentaries and stories they've put out in the media it's not as if they can have forgotten any of the details of that night is it?willowthewisp wrote:Would any UK MSM Journalist, the next time they happen to have Questions for Clarence Mitchell and the Tapas 7/9,ask any of them.
