He thinks he's so damn clever with his catalogue of well rehearsed answers but fails to realise how callous he appears to his audience. Meanwhile Kate McCann swiftly mastered the art of squinting her right eye when feigning distress, strangely enough on the television last night an actress was doing exactly the same thing when acting out a death trauma, no tears just this twitching eye. At the time my immediate thought was - you madam, can't act !!!

The video is a shortened version of Pamela Meyer's 'How to Spot a Liar' talk, posted originally on the TED channel. A poster called SuperEarther has uploaded a shortened version of the Meyer talk, and they, or someone else, has included clips of the McCanns (which are not in the original).

The 'smirk' section starts at 7.20. Note also how Kate uses the phrase, 'to be honest....'.

There are no revelations in the above but the 'GM smirk' seems a perfect example of 'duper's delight'.

Researching and compiling this video opened my eyes, particularly on a couple of points.

It appears that the 'Express apology' may not have been because they were admitting the reports were lies. Apparently they were aware that it was possible for the McCanns to sue them because they were unable to name their sources due to the Portuguese secrecy laws.

Gerry left the court early and unexpectedly returned back to UK after 50 news articles about the cadaver dogs and blood in their apartment appeared in UK newspapers on January 13th.

Damage control?

Was he successful and that is the reason there were NO articles 4 days later?.....(except...one sneaked through on January 21st....about the 'Gaspar' statement!)

And you missed, remove her pajama's, lay them out neatly, take a photograph of the pajamas, leave a copy of the image for later use, and then put the pajamas back on the victim before leaving out of the window.
Then going back inside and drawing the curtains... what!?

Crimewatch UK - October 2013 Madeleine McCann Special

This is really too lenghty for Video of the Day but it can't ever be overlooked nor forgotten as it features ex-DCI Andy Redwood of the yard - his magnum opus, promoting the abduction hypothesis over six years after Madeleine McCann's disappearance. Flying in the face of all the evidence and intelligence uncovered by the initial PJ investigation, including super dogs Eddie and Keela.

The focus at this moment is the Crimewatch reconstruction, filmed at an unknown location (not Ocean Club Praia da Luz), played by actors and co-written by Operation Grange the Crimewatch production team and the McCanns themselves.

It starts at 007:30 minutes and lasts about 8 minutes.

The PJ were very anxious for a re-enactment to take place at the end of the summer 2007 in order to clarify the many discrepencies in the Tapas groups individual version of events. This never materialized because the Tapas group declined to participate - so why this Crimewatch staged reconstruction, what was the purpose? In my opinion, it was not a reconstruction - it was a story - a story created and propagated by Gerry and Kate McCann and their team. For Operation Grange under the direction of DCI Andy Redwood and the Crimewatch production team and the BBC, to participate and perpetuate such a mammoth scam is a criminal act of unprecedented proportions - at least as regards the case of a missing child.

There was no rhyme nor reason for this story to be included in the Crimewatch special. There is no way it could have assisted an investigation, coupled with ex-DCI Andy Redwood's revelation moment Tannerman v. Crecheman and his new-found e-fits that he claimed attracted a resounding public response in quest of the phantom abductor. The story is interspersed with clips of the Crimewatch interview with the McCanns which more or less leads the filmed 'reconstruction'.

An absolute disgrace.

Extraordinary term of phrase - that aside, according to the various witness statements the alleged child checking arrangements the following night didn't appear to be any different than any other night. I suppose it could be said that Gerry McCann was behaving 'thoroughly' when he peeped around the children's bedroom door and thought how lucky he was to have such a beautiful child.

Then of course he had a leak and headed back to the restaurant to join the fun.
