Child Rescue Alert - ask your postman Empty Child Rescue Alert - ask your postman

The Child Rescue Alert promoted by Missing People is partnered by the Post Office.

UK police are completely in charge of child rescue alerts and have already stated it is unlikely that there would be anywhere near half a dozen per year...so far there's only been one which proved to be a test case where the teenager was found safe and well within hours. Jo Youles of Missing People was very proud the technology was in place that day. Jo Youles was no doubt also proud that on the very day the electronic billboards launched by Kate McCann in Birmingham the teenager was also found.

Now, I am appealing to everyone to ask their postman/woman if they've ever heard of Child Rescue Alert and know if such a thing is available on their hand-held technology which is what Missing People and the Post Office declare.

Ask your postman/woman. I asked mine who has been a postman for 13 years and he'd never heard of it.

I will try but they do not have a set pattern (come when they like) so we very rarely see ours.
