A rare real abduction
Indictment loooong after the fact
And, if convicted, a conviction without bodies

How much has the "Fund" had ?
Nick Price is a perfect name, don't you think. More of a job description really !
Canoe couple John and Anne Darwin have had the last of their assets seized - leaving them without a penny from his faked death at sea.
The Crown Prosecution Service revealed it had recovered the last £40,000 which he had gained from the deception.
The CPS has now obtained a total of £541,762 and 39 pence. The Darwins now have no known assets remaining for confiscation.
Nick Price, Head of Proceeds of Crime at the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "When John Darwin devised his plan to defraud insurance companies, he did not think he would get caught.

So it took 9 years (I assume they were found out/Arrested in 2006) to get every penny they swindled back. And this was a reletively simple case of deception from a couple of nobodies.
This McCann case is a monster in comparison in every respect and has "only" been going 8 and bit years....

Re: This one will make several lists
The big question is does PeterMac think the silence that has engulfed the OG offices since DCI Wall's takeover a good or bad sign for justice and truth?
