The 319 numbers come from here, these are the reference numbers associated with OC [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The 200 numbers come from here, these are the reference numbers associated with MW [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
If you study the pattern of the first set of OC numbers in relation to the second set of MW ones, for the first 4 pages, one follows on from the next in running order with OC reference numbers. But once the OC number sequence changes from 319 to 336, the MW reference numbers no longer follow on in sequence. Very strange. It’s almost as if page 5 to 7 has been printed from a different system?
If the PJ only released things relating to Gerry and the others, why did they allow so many other guest lists to be released? Or are some of the other guests actively involved in the same investigation?

What I also noticed about list number 5, which is the link above ending in 338, the typeface for "Ocean" Club, top left, has suddenly changed in font style compared with all the other lists.
Something very fishy there if you ask me.

Can anyone explain why the name "Markwarner" in the Agencia column for McCann and Naylor, would change appearance on the 5th? It looked perfectly fine on all the lists prior to that date.

Thanks Stella, course it is doh, I am really losing the plot. I took it to mean a person with those initials owned that apt, then rented it out!! Consequently, I have spent all morning on a wasted exercise, I think I need some time in a home for the bewildered

I believe so jkh, but not 100% sure. I know that Naylor is a very popular name in that part of the country, but what a coincidence eh! ?
There is another coincidence, that a Nicola Naylor had something to do with the McCann's.

Re: MW and OC guest lists - Paul and Jeni Weinberger...The Totmans...Jes Wilkins
I spend quite a bit of time looking at the guest lists and the name that always stands out for me is Weinberger. Paul Weinberger's presence, based on his career and expertise, leads me to suspect that a group of people were present in the Ocean Club to discuss the launch of an innovative new medical product or 'spin out' company. Perhaps Gerry McCann was there not to enjoy himself (as he stated on the airport bus) but as the inventor or co-inventor of an innovative medical product that needed the backing of venture capital and business know-how, in order to succeed. The common ground between McCann and Weinberger is in the field of diagnostics and Weinberger has business and regulatory knowledge (there is tons of material about Weinberger on the internet!).
There were also a couple of bankers present and I found an interesting snippet about Michal Janczur who was a city of London banker in May 2007 (he since seems to have set his own limited company up). The snippet is from his MySpace page. Like many he probably set this up and then forgot all about it in favour of Facebook. He had two children at the Ocean Club which would mean that the MySpace page dates from a period before the Ocean Club trip. I wonder if the meeting at the Ocean Club was a business opportunity for Michal Janczur?
Assuming the group of Doctors and business people were there for business and not pleasure, the planned discussions / conference must have been stopped in its tracks on the weekend of 29/30 April. I guess the weekend was a time to relax a little and enjoy some golf before the work of the week ahead. If something happened to Madeleine on the weekend of 29/30 April and the meeting had to be cancelled, what were all these people told had happened? If the scenario was one of a business meeting and not a holiday does this make Brian Kennedy's presence at the Ocean Club more likely?
The big cover-up seems to be portraying the McCann's as part of a small group of Brits abroad and covering up the real reason for the larger group being at the O.C.
Once this fantasy holiday had been dreamed up it was far eaisier to tap into the psyche of ordinary folk back home in the UK.

There were also rumours around that they were there to try and resurrect the failed Leicester Pathways Bid so some kind of business meeting seems highly likely imo

I've always believed it was an event that was being protected, not the McCann's.
The forensic findings in the car confirms this imo, otherwise the men in black would have played a greater role in clearing everything up, to ensure nothing forensically was found.

They do if it has been handwritten, then scanned in and OCR software used.

If the typist has been reading something handwritten, and is not familiar with British names, then maybe they just misread it as Pawer. Especially if the writing was sloppy or scribbled. An l followed by an m, in a manuscript, could easily be mistaken for a w.

The thing is, reservation names are not written out every day, they are taken from the first booking. The system just prints everything off from the original booking, unless a booking is manually changed. It is impossible for a computer system to spew out incorrect information, such as a change of name, all of it's own accord.

I've just thought, no one over here knows how these reports work, so let me explain.
These particular lists are used by the tapas restaurant to confirm who is a guest and also used to keep a running tab of individuals expenditure for the duration of their holiday. Anything charged to the room appears on the right hand side of those reports.
This guy is booked in for 19 days, is there as a single person and does not spend a penny.

Protecting the event: An ENIGMA????
I have read up on the failed Pathways bid and I feel doubtful that this was the reason for the Doctors, experts and business people to have gathered at the Ocean Club at the end of April 2007.
For me, the characters present and the curtain of secrecy indicate that an important meeting was indeed scheduled for that fateful week but I am inclined to believe it was to discuss some other commercial venture. Here is one suggestion:
Paul Weinberger was present at the Ocean Club and he was at the time Director of Clinical Development at Enigma Diagnostics. Enigma has an exclusive licence from the Defence Science Technology Laboratory to manage a portfolio of patents which represent over 15 years of UK Ministry of Defence funded research.
Paul Weinberger has been involved in many projects and the RANGER project is detailed below. It was submitted to the EC in April 2007. The RANGER consortium also included the Health Protection Agency [Note: COMARE is part of HPA].
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The EC issued the following Call under the Health priority in 2007: “HEALTH-2007-2.3.3-4: Innovative point-of-care diagnostic tests for influenza. The objective is to develop and validate affordable, reliable, and rapid diagnostic tests for influenza infections with designated viruses. Research outcomes should be applicable to surveillance and early detection of an epidemic outbreak and suitable for point-of-care use in both developed and developing countries, addressing early biological markers and/or late surveillance.”
Enigma [lead partner and coordinators] decided to submit a proposal to the specified EC call as it provided an opportunity to fund the development of a clinical diagnostic system to complement its existing defence sector system. The project was called Ranger (“Rapid, robust and scalable platform technology for fully automated reference laboratory grade Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) based diagnostics regardless of global setting”) and was submitted to the EC in April 2007. The project was accepted for funding and received a grant of €3 million against a total project plan of €4.1 million and 24 month duration. The project started in January 2008.

PRESS RELEASE
3, October 2007
ENIGMA DIAGNOSTICS ANNOUNCES A EUROPEAN COMMISSION AWARD
OF €3MILLION TO FUND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A POINT OF CARE
PLATFORM FOR THE RAPID DIAGNOSIS OF INFLUENZA INFECTIONS
A fully automated, portable solution for in-clinic and out-reach influenza testing
Porton Down, UK, Enigma Diagnostics, the life sciences company developing rapid
molecular diagnostics and detection systems, announces a €3 million award from the
European Commission Framework 7 programme to the RANGER consortium. The
award will fund the development and validation of a fully automated, low cost system for
the rapid diagnosis of influenza infections and subtypes.
The RANGER consortium, which is coordinated by Enigma Diagnostics, comprises
leading technology companies including Applied Biosystems, Sagentia, Tico Europe,
Bruhn Newtech Group, Bioplastics BV and PERA who will contribute to the development
of the instrument and assays. The consortium also includes the Health Protection
Agency, the UK’s national reference laboratory for influenza diagnostics, and the Queen
Sirikit National Institute of Child Health who will evaluate and validate the system.
The system will be based on Enigma’s proprietary and fully-automated instrumentation
technology, which integrates sample preparation with real-time polymerase chain
reaction (PCR) to detect viral RNA in a full range of clinical samples. The simple-to-use,
portable system will provide rapid results direct to medical staff in a near-patient or outreach
environment in both the developed and developing world.
By providing laboratory standard, high specificity and sensitivity PCR results in a
decentralised setting, the system will advance the diagnosis of early stage viral
infections and the surveillance of disease outbreaks.
Enigma is also separately developing real-time PCR-based diagnostics systems
targeting chlamydia, gonorrhoea and other sexually transmitted infections.
John McKinley, Chairman of Enigma Diagnostics, said: “The award of this grant and the
strength of our consortium partners is a great endorsement of Enigma’s technology. It is
also a strategically important milestone for the company as it demonstrates the utility of
our real time PCR in what is an extremely challenging area of diagnosis. We are
confident we will be able to deliver a system that rapidly and simply delivers laboratory
quality results at the point of care”

A UK based SME called Enigma Diagnostics was an innovative start-up company operating out of the UK Government defence research centre DSTL at Porton Down, Salisbury, UK. Enigma is a recognised leader in developing rapid diagnostics for the detection and identification of infectious organisms, such as bacteria and viruses, in environmental, clinical, and biological samples. The basis of its technology is an automated platform for PCR diagnostics, at present focused on the defence sector.

Yes, I see your point. Why would someone go to the trouble of manually changing something that updates itself automatically? Unless they were going to change it, thought better of it, tried to change it back, but mucked it up.

Exactly Shibboleth
or, if you wanted to hide someone within a system, on any particular day. You could go in and change their name, so when someone did a search or printed stuff off on that day. Bingo !!! they exist no more.
Every system has a report that is used for an audit trail. On this report it shows every transaction that is made. If someone had asked for that report, you could find exactly who changed it and when. But I doubt the PJ ever did.

This is a really odd one !
The Totman’s arrived on the 28th for 7 nights and stayed in G4M
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Mrs R Totman
Mr J Totman (believed to be Dr Julian Totman, a GP in Salisbury)
Miss L Totman age 2
Mstr W Totman age 3
But there is a rather interesting comment at the foot of their booking which says;
Please note that activity list will only be showing 2nd week, but guest requires 2 weeks childcare from 28th April.
Now why would someone need 2 weeks childcare for a 1 week holiday ?
don't mention a possible private apartment

Mr P Edmonds in room DP03, arrived with his 3 sons on a LGW flight on the 28th, the same day as everyone else. On the arrivals list he was booked in for 7 nights, due to leave on the 5th. But according to a fellow holidaymaker Stephen Carpenter, who was in the tapas restaurant with him the night Madeleine was reported missing, he was flying his children back to their Mother in Switzerland the following morning after staying only 6 nights.

From Stephen Carpenter’s statement:

DCF: We arrived at about seven because we had the children with us and I saw a man sitting at the table next to us with three children.
SC: Yes
DCF: He was going to take a plane the next day to Switzerland, given that the children’s mother lived there, I had never seen him before that night, but he ended up joining us for a coffee, he was a MW tourist.

I have been wondering if the Ocean Club in Praia da luz has the facilities to host a business meeting on site.
It appears from this website that if has a room suitable for up to 75 people:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Out of the busy season I would imagine the Ocean Club would have offered a value for money venue for:
- A very private business meeting
- Recreational facilities where people could take some time out to network and relax
- Child care
Were there 75 people at the Ocean Club who were perhaps attending a business meeting? There are Doctors, bankers and of course Mr Paul Weinberger who was working in the Defence / Civil medical diagnostics sector at the time Madeleine vanished.

Re: MW and OC guest lists - Paul and Jeni Weinberger...The Totmans...Jes Wilkins
Just found another person who arranged to leave early on the 3rd May.
Mackenzie room G31 from 30/04/07 to 07/05/07
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Yet, on the report run on the 3rd May at 01:16:02 hours, this booking has now been changed to
Mackenzie room G31 from 30/04/07 to 05/05/07
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Someone has also tried quite unsuccessfully, to hide the amount of the running total on the right hand column, by trying to cover it up with something.

It might be worth listing all the doctors, and others employed in the medical field who were there that week to see if we can make a connection as to what they may have met up to discuss.

If they were all there for a business meeting (that had to be covered up when a child died) why would they take all the children in the first place?
