There is good and evil in most things, but no more so than the internet. The Net has opened people's eyes to information etc like nothing we've seen in the history of mankind, and this, in general, can only be a good thing.  However, it has also exposed just how evil some people are. Those who go out of their way to lie about people to the point it destroys honest, decent people, who only want answers to something that just doesn't add up.   I have never witnessed anything like it in my life. I must have been brought up on a different planet in a different universe. Psychopaths, sociopaths, narcissists etc; the Net is lousy with them.

Truly disgusting naming Leanne as having passed away, mere words cannot explain there perniciousness.
We can only hope that Justice will prevail in Mr Goncalo Amaral defamation case appeal, it must seem like being a boxer and having both hands tied down in seeking justice for Madeleine McCann, as her parents so called chums did very little to help towards Madeleine's demise, at the time of her disappearance/ Abduction?

You can use a fake name and a fake email address according to Leanne but gofundme would surely have details of their card and that could be traced. How was this sicko able to delete a donation and a comment anyway? I thought once the payment was made that was it?

I believe the Fund admin may have deleted it.

But the good news is, there is another £5 in the kitty to defend Dr Amaral against these spiteful and grasping and mendacious people.

Can you imagine if Leanne's mum, for instance, checked the fund this morning and saw that message?

I'm chucking another tenner into the pot out of respect for Leanne and that despicable comment left yesterday that shocked so many of us. Leanne's a young mum who has done a truly wonderful thing for Dr Amaral by setting up this defence fund and she didn't deserve this. I'm really pleased to see the PJGA have taken over here. Thank you Leanne for getting this fund off to such a fantastic start xx

Good news for justice.  And good to see some more donors from Portugal.

But a minor point.  Why make the donations via the GoFundMe website?  Assuming the money was collected in Portugal, it could have been sent directly to the BPI in Lisbon at no cost.

By directing the funds via the GoFundMe website, 5% plus is deducted and of course there is also the cost of exchange from Euros to Pounds and presumably back again when the funds go to the lawyers. 

It really does not make any sense to me.
