Forensics have been back in the family home and a third house is being searched, the police have been granted a further 36 hours to question the two arrested.

As I've said on the previous page, the fact they've been held for 36 hours indicates that those arrested on Saturday are suspected of a serious crime such as murder.

Having been granted a further 36 hours to question the suspects, the police can only apply for one further extension of 24 hours before either charging or releasing them.

according to the DM the third house being searched is opposite the boyfriend's house, it could possibly be the house she stayed at.

An appeal has been put out for info on the black car that has been seized.

What I find odd is when my friend's 16 year old girl went missing, and she is classed as vulnerable due to mental health issues there was no digging or sniffer dogs. She turned up after a week, so why is this case being treated differently?

A 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman had been earlier arrested for kidnap on Saturday.

It came after police said they had seized a black Vauxhall Zafira - registration HY06 HYA - and said they wanted to speak to anyone who had ever owned the car or had seen it between 19 and 23 February

Given the recent changes in vehichle taxation and the fact this vehicle is still legally taxed would suggest to me the police are looking for a 3rd party for suppying the vehichle for the disposal of a cadaver.

This is a very common misunderstanding. There are many people who have been convicted for murder when no body, nor forensic trace has ever been found.
The more accurate become the "cadaver dogs" the more likely this becomes.

Those "useless, unreliable dogs" are being used again in the murder of Becky Watts:

"Specialist sniffer dogs used in the hunt for Madeleine McCann and April Jones were used in the search for Rebecca earlier this week".

And the tweeter who has tweeted 52.3 THOUSAND TWEETS, trying desperately to convince others that these dogs are "UNRELIABLE".

The persons who are currently being held will have been arrested 'on suspicion' of committing whatever crime the police have reason to believe they may have committed and the time that they are held in custody will provide opportunity to question them and gather evidence to support whatever suspicions may have been aroused.

The aunt of missing Becky Watts has defended her family on Facebook.
Sarah Broom wrote on Facebook this morning: "Just to add for those that need a few facts for today before their know-nothing speculation drips out their mouths here's two for you!!
"Neither person arrested are my family and neither house being searched is any thing to do with my family's either! "We're all still very much together with the same goal we started out with and that is to find Becky safe.. ?#?findbecky?"
She added in a later post - made after two people were arrested on suspicion of murder - that the family were 'heartbroken'.
"With all of my strong amazing family supporting, sharing love and complete heartbreak while we process everything!! We're all so completely broken with nothing left to give anymore!," she said

I've had a look at missing people's website. On the homepage there is nothing about Rebecca Watts.

I've had a look at their Twitter feed and can't find anything (I stand to be corrected on this because I'm only looking at Twitter feed online as I don't have a Twitter account).

I see nothing about Rebecca/Becky Watts.

"Every family member who was part of our search for Rebecca still remains with us.
"We are aware that this is an ongoing investigation and cannot say anymore.

Uncle has read this statement which seems to implicate the suspects may be family but not on the dad's side.

Not much 'coverage/cameras' outside his house were there?.
