So. Not all destroyed, then. And the hair...
Although after their carelessness with the first time around, will the Portuguese let the British forensic teams come anywhere near the precious samples again?
And who's to say this sudden renewed interest on the part of the British isn't a result of the new prosecutor's determination to find the truth? Perhaps the Portuguese have been doing their own retesting and the Brits - as they've been trying all along to do, imo - are desperately trying to muscle in again to find out what they know.
My own interpretation, as ever.
