I don't do Twitter, but if I did, I would Tweet Martin Brunt with "Instead of harassing people who ask questions about the McCann's version of events, why not start doing some journalism, and investigate the McCann's version yourself? Then you will understand why people question the McCann's version"

Can someone who uses Twitter put some perfectly valid questions to Martin Brunt?

Has Brunt turned into the equivalent of Brian Deer whose vitriolic attack on Andrew Wakefield was just so unedifying? Full of bile and venom and just plain nasty.

This is quite shocking.

The woman in the video appears to be "sweepyface", matching the quote in the papers to what she said on camera.

Clearly the now infamous MuratFan is NOT a troll because his years of harassment and abuse was aimed at doubters of the "official" version of events.

The doubters will no doubt be galvanised by this BLATANT display of double standards that has been demonstrated over the years. And also serve to bolster the opinion that this whole investigation is some sort of a whitewash exercise. When did the McCann's ever voice concern that any of their supporters were making threats of violence to doubters? When did they call for an end to abuse and harassment dished out in their name?

And what if, just if, the investigation is a genuine one and one day the case concludes in such a way that VINDICATES the doubters, the dogs, the researchers who have submitted evidence to Grange and campaigned tirelessly for certain unsettling discrepancies to be at the very least publicly aired and thoroughly investigated? Where would that then leave Brunt, James O'Brien, Lorraine Kelly and all those who have sought to demonise anyone who dared to suggest parental involvement? Where would that leave the court ruling on TB? The actions taken against Amaral?

Will those who have screeched "Troll", "Hater", then issue a very public apology for getting it all so wrong? I doubt it.

Well this really is a strange development.

I have never been quite so vocal in my disdain for the McCanns, certainly not to a criminal extent so I don't think I have anything to fear here.

Here is my advice to anyone who gets doorstepped by a journalist: Just repeat "Google the Gaspar's statements!" into the camera ad infinitum.

A cowardly little git like Martin Brunt wouldn't even dare show the footage if the Gaspars were mentioned.

A dangerous thing to do, if so, after all, the 'pros' could be just as vile as the 'haters', couldn't they? Ask what is left of Goncalo's dog!

If she really is a paid patsy, then her face is out there for all to see and the media might be encouraging just the sort of behaviour they are reporting on. The fee would have to be very worth it!

Having said that, look at that food show 'Mystery Diners'.

How strange if they haven't.
They're usually so vocal about things which are designed to help them.
Could it be this has gone on without their knowledge? And it's not in their best interests to have this sort of stuff front and centre in the media? And it's another own goal scored by their staunch supporters, not realizing they've now dropped Kate and Gerry squarely in the muck?
Just a thought.

Just my opinion. Today's shenanigans was driven by Summers&Co, Murdoch and SKY. Poking the wasps' nest because the book got sabotaged.

This has to be the number one question.

Either the police or someone in the CPS/judiciary gave him the details, in which case there would be a serious case to answer, or Brunty actually did some research and cross referenced her accounts....doxed her, if you will.

I doubt it is the latter. Brunty isn't smart enough.

Appears to be the usual TM antics. Foul language (Kate - "fuc**** tos***s"). Abuse. Resort to threats and intimidation rather than debate. Business as usual.

I suppose this gives a good indication of how things were following 'the abduction'. How people got silenced. How people got intimidated. How debate got stifled.

Good to see it all being demonstrated seven years later.

Accuse your critics of what you are doing. Time-honored device. Beloved of TM.
