As a matter of interest, there are currently 5,686 petitions running on the Prime Minister's website. This Madeleine petition calling for a public enquiry is now 727th in the list

Thanks to all who have signed and shared hentie's petition so far.

I'm pleased to say that the petition has now broken into the top 500 petitions on the PM's website, with 256 signatures, making it exactly 500th at the moment (there are nearly 6,000 petitions in total currently running on the PM's website).

The total number of signers makes a big difference.

The more signatures we get, the more this petition gets noticed, and the more it gets signed, and so on.

A large number signing would send a message to the powers that be that we're not hoodwinked by the spin.

Surely Madeleine deserves a couple of minutes of your time, if you haven't signed, to put pressure on those who want us to simply go away..... :please:
