Big article in tomorrows Daily Mail. With reference to Madeleine case.

I have noticed recently that the papers are again using the word abduction in the McCann case.

The first line of this Ben Needham article reads -

"It was, until the abduction of Madeleine McCann,"

It's so distressing to see such heartache and injustice.

And in the case of April Jones. With complete endorsement from David Cameron, Bonnie Tyler and Catherine Zeta Jones £62K was raised with most people deciding that money wouldn't fix anything. And I agree, each child's photo is equally memorized without the need for private funding.

So why are the McCanns getting away with this charade?

If you were to pass that 62k onto a certain 'charity' that is essentially about policy and research you can buy expertise in media campaigns at 100 pounds for a consultation if you ever suffer the loss of a loved one. You could even get your missing loved one onto a digital media screen in a major city (I'm not sure if that's for free as I don't understand the website - perhaps my education is lacking). You could even try to find out what a particular charity actually does (it'll take a lot of clicks past the constant 'donate' buttons and it probably won't make sense as you work through the labyrinth of non-speke which takes you back to the 'raising funds' function). You could try and volunteer for a certain charity and find the job spec alarming in its demands (and fund raising is high profile).

Alternatively you could imagine yourself in the position of having a loved one go missing and in your obvious highly emotional state logon to a certain 'charity' website and see how it swings into operation and helps.

Finn, it's scandalous imo.
