Prince Harry and Kate McCann

Prince Harry was at the marathon today checking out Mo Farah and the other celebs, but unfortunately for the Prince, it doesn't look like Kate agreed to an audience. Katherine Jenkins was there, paralympians, Sophie Anderton, but by the looks of the Daily Mail photographs of the day, none of them were of sufficient calibre to be photo'd with Mrs McCann. In fact it looks like the Daily Mail reporters were not invited to a photo call either. Shame. Was so looking forward to the exciting pictures, but maybe there will be a spread about it in Hello or Grazia, shall keep an eye out.

I am sure we all feel the pain of the Prince and the others, but hopefully next year, if they ask the McCanns PR department in enough time, she will be gracious enough to grant them an audience.

Think how grateful they will be to receive such an honour from our National Treasure.

What a spectacular marathon. Full of love, respect, joy, fun, personal challenge, personal achievement etc AND the SUN (the hot thing in the sky not the newspaper) was shining in England!!!

There were lots of national treasures out there today....they are the humble people who ran for all their various reasons and with all their various ailments/personal tragedies and with their commitment to their chosen charities without the need of spin doctors, high-paid lawyers, media machines, hi-tech, incomprehensible websites awash with partnership logos and parking their bums on the sofa of national daytime telly to ramp up the donations.

My heart was lifted by so many of the 'roadside' interviews from the humble 'national treasures' of the United Kingdom.

What a wonderful post Aquila. Yes indeed some very genuine people out there today, most uplifting.
