Is the Olive Press growing up ?
Latest print edition contains this letter to the Editor.
There is also some stuff about the father of the man murdered in France, who lived on the Costa in seclusion for some years, and whose will caused the problem between the two brothers. It give the impression that Jon C has done some investigation himself, in which case full marks. Can we now expect something else ?
Maddie sightings
Full marks on keeping the disappearance of Maddie in people’s minds “Keeping Maddie in the news” (issue 143)
But these stories of people who claim they saw her in aircraft and restaurants just do not ring true.
One word to the cabin crew would see a second opinion, which, if positive would see the police board the aircraft before anyone left it. Or just a word to the police officer who is always lurking near immigration, or to the immigration officers themselves.
Even less convincing are the claims to have seen her in restaurants made weeks or months after the event. No, I think the answer to this child’s disappearance lies nearer home.
David Chown, Estepona.

He's certainly capable of writing well researched articles - more so than many journalists on the tabloids such as the Daily Mail.
He seems to be able to spell and use language in a very articulate way. So there's hope!

Thanks for this Peter
David Chown is on the ball. No "Abductor" would have taken Madeleine onto an aircraft, into a shopping mall, onto a beach etc.
Poor Madeleine died in that apartment in PDL. The dogs told us this. Her parents and their Tapas friends also told us this, through their proven lies.
