I would put money on it that they don't have a pet. They don't seem to want to be at home with the twins these days as would rather jet around flogging Kate's bewk.

The Mystery of Rothley Towers
Apologies for going off at a bit of a tangent but, apart from some home videos of Madeleine when she was younger and the "Madeleine was here" documentary in 2009, I don't remember ever seeing any footage inside the McCanns' house.
Now I know there's no reason really why they have to do that but, bearing in mind their love of publicity stunts, I'm surprised that we've never had any photos of Kate looking anguished in Madeleine's bedroom. The toys and belongings in there might actually give us an indication of what Madeleine was like, rather than the present situation when all we have been told of her are abstract things like being a character and full of personality.
A missed opportunity I feel.

They've also got a parrot called Clarence that repeats everything they say.
I can feel another thread about to go off topic

Re: Police have finally admitted Madeleine was abducted
Back on topic the head of the Met was on twitter this afternoon answering questions from tweeps. Despite asking twice if SY had responded to FOI by Daily Star and said were using "abduction" word - no response - was I surprised?

Was it really Norfolk Constabulary? If so, why? That is my local patrol, so just wondering why they would be answering for the Met?aiyoyo wrote:Daily Star FOI and reply they got from Norfolk Constabulary.

I have today decided to:
Answer questions 5, 6 , 7, 10 and 11 in full.

The following questions have been responded to in full:

The MPS has allocated a team to deal with this and the Home Office have agreed to reimburse this cost. This is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
The following questions have been refused on the grounds that they do not constitute a valid request under the Act:

From this FOI reply, I cant see how Daily Star arrived at the "police admitted it was an abduction" story?
