It has been announced on Sky News this morning that JK Rowling helped Kate write her book, well what a shock, Rowling writes about fantasy and we all know the abduction of Madeleine is pure fantasy, another own goal for the Mc's.

Yep, an expert in fairy stories. Mark my words Rowling will get Madeleine's fate turned into a film too. Isn't Rowling supposed to be getting done for plagiarism cos she nicked the idea of Harry Potter from someone else? I suppose having Rowling's name attached to the book will make it more sellable.

Good news for Dr Amaral who will be wanting ~~a bit~~ a lot of compensation for what the celebrity child neglecters have done to hi m and his f amily.

The Harry Potter author gave advice as she penned details of the youngster's 2007 disappearance in Portugal.
Kate hopes to raise £1million from the book.
She said: "Every penny will go on the search for Madeleine."

Dont forget the last HP's book was spilt into two movies;
motiviated by pure greed no doubt which pisses me off no end that I refused to go and watch it.
Having to pay for one movie is bad enough, but paying to watch half a story and still have to fork out more for the 2nd half - FORGET IT. No way I was going to line her bulging pocket. Now, after her apparent support of child neglectors..dont even mention JK.

Bet the mccanns are going to copy cat and turn book into sequels.

You really couldn't make this up could you? A prime minister who supported child neglectors, a police force who supported child neglectors by advertising their fund on the police website, a pope who granted the child neglectors an audience, and now we have JK Rowling helping child neglectors to write a book and earn more millions. When will this circus stop?

I hope not for a long time yet. Many of us feel a duty to keep it going until there is a proper resolution. We should not allow the players simply to fade into obscurity with their "Fund"
What might that resolution be ?
1 Madeleine might be found alive, safe, well and unharmed
2 Madeleine might be found alive, - but not safe, well and unharmed
3 Madeleine's remains might be found
4 Madeleine's remains might not be found but the person who disposed of them might tell the truth about the disposal
5 Madeleine's remains might not be found, but some other person, closely concerned with the cover up might tell the truth

1 is almost impossibly unlikely - and if you include psychological harm - absolutely impossible.
2 is improbable, bordering on impossibly unlikely
3 is now unlikely given the passage of time, but not impossible
4 is now unlikely, given the time during which that person has remained free, but again, not impossible.
5 is now the most likely of all these scenarios - itself unlikely, but the one on which I would concentrate if I had anything at all to do with the case.

I value your posts Mr Mac because you was a real police officer who had dealt with cases like this. But all the options you've stated about the case being resolved all seem to be "unlikely" which means the McCanns seem to be free to carry on making money out of Madeleine and getting away with 'it' (whatever 'it' is). It's really a very daunting thought to think these awful people will carry on with this scam in the full glare of the media and theoretically sticking up two fingers to the world.

I can't see resolution on this. Unless one of them cracks or has an attack of the conscience, which is unlikely if you think how callously they have acted thus far. So the only hope is a body coming to light, and even that what say how, who, where, when given the time that has elapsed. Small comfort is the fact that the McCanns will forever have the paranoia of the truth coming out, that has to be a massive burden.

J K Rowling's long-standing connection with the Drs McCann is of more than passing interest.

On the face of it, J.K. Rowling is one of the world's most successful writers of popular books and films for children. Her books have even motivated some children to learn to read more quickly, which is another achievement.

But there is a significant darker side to the Harry Potter books and I shall say more about this on another occasion.

J.K. Rowling's association with Gordon Brown's wife Sarah and folk like Richard Branson make her powerful as well as a billionaire authoress of children's books.

As for a prodigious output of fantasy helping Dr Kate McCann write her book about Madeleine, er, NO COMMENT!

Someone, somewhere has been economical with the vérité. How shocking. How surprising.
OR..
JKR has realised, too late, that to be associated with the book may not, in the longer term, be a good marketing ploy, as the book is shredded critically, and possibly physically.
