Kate did not mention it TO Markley, he was just present when she asked (again - as you rightly point out) the PJ about it.

What she probably did not know at that time was that Mrs Fenn was not in on Wednesday.

So the crying was possibly later moved to Tuesday once they found out.

But that conflicted with Kate being in the Flat at the time - after Storming off due to Chekaya getting more attention than her from Gerry. An Event that was changed in her Book 'Madeleine'.

Kate and Gerry had some questions that they wanted a response from the PJ about the crying incident?
Sounds like they were running the investigation themselves right from the start, they wanted to know exactly what the PJ were thinking so they could be one step ahead.

Not only Pamela F wasn't at home on Wednesday, but Rachael who was on the other side of the MC kids' (not wall but) partition, had heard nothing.
They easily avoided dating the crying since everyone understood that, as allegedly reported on Thursday morning, it had happened the night before. Children don't postpone what they have to say.

Yes I get you re student loans, but teachers gave you no encouragement to get on unless your Parents were the wealthy ones they weren’t interested you basically got discouraged from following your dreams I should know I was one of them along with other friends infact we were just talking about it the other week and that’s why Ive mentioned it

I've said all along that Bernt may well be onto something. It will be interesting to see if Bernts theory plays out. He may be right or may be wrong, but if it grabs the interest of people who have not really followed the case, and directs them to the PJ files and the amazing research of others then surely that is a good thing. So many people still believe the MSM hype instead. Imagine how far researchers would get if there was access to all of the files from everywhere. What we have access to is minimal in comparison. So all theories are valid minus the abduction rhetoric that has been spun.

I am only halfway through the book. I feel I am being duped. As unpopular as this might be I feel very uncomfortable with the lack of transparency and the tease of things to come.

Sorry to say I disbelieve the motive.

I haven't read the book; I don't understand why the police are not at the suspected burial site? Anything could happen there - it has perhaps already been disturbed. What if there really is a body there? Or, what if a body has been removed?

Why would the Portuguese police do anything on the whim of a Norwegian expat who claims to have contact with someone or other in their ranks? It doesn't make sense.
