Facebook groups can be hit and miss really. There quite a few Facebook groups, some are pro McCann some are anti McCann. On the whole they are a good resource but most members do not seem familiar with the pj files. I don't go on facebook much and after all the disrespect I witnessed yesterday, I do not want to be privvy to the He said she said behaviours.
I didn't know Jill ran a Facebook group. I only know of a couple of them

Me too. Hopefully we may hear something soon and worth the wait. I just hope his credibility hasn't been too damaged by yesterday's pointless backfiring amongst members.

Facebook is a world I'm totally unfamiliar with. Are there many Madeleine groups out there? I know Jill has one, is it similar to this forum?

Bernt has ruffled a few feathers, then. Isn't that what usually happens when there are developments in the case, particularly this one, involving an "outsider" like Bern t who can potentially cause problems for those involved in the disappearance.

Oh we expect that but this latest is from supposed pro Madeleine groups and really is sickening watching all the attempts to score points and the brown nosing, if you will excuse my crudeness.

Up to BS's time and manner of removal of the body, he's less inaccurate, more precise than PB who hasn't read enough the PJFiles I'm afraid. Had she taken seriously experiences with cadaver dogs, she wouldn't stick to May 3rd (imo).

Pat is fixated on Smithman and it runing the risk of 'interpreting' the bits of evidence we have to fit her hypothesis
Like Clarke has done, and Wolters for that matter.

If I understand her position correctly, Smithman = Gerry carries the body down to the rocks just south of the Smithman point, hides her under an upturned boat, and tehn niops back ot the Tapas in time for the next Act

THEN - and this is the killer - he or they return during the night, retrieve the body and carry it along the beach to Rocha Negra where they hide it again.

I make no observation about the Full moon, cloudless sky, number of Police and tourists and dogs searching everywhere, fishing boats in the bay from around 3am, Smithman timing 9;58pm at the earliest, Alarm timing anywhere from 9:30pm to 10pm. or a lot more.

I am not saying it is wrong. I just don't see how it can work. And I see NO evidence for any of it.
