The father of the man found dead in Michael Barrymore's swimming pool 20 years ago has died following a battle with cancer without ever getting justice for his son.
Stuart Lubbock, 31, died at Barrymore's £2million mansion in Roydon, Essex, in March 2001. A post-mortem revealed he had suffered severe internal injuries which suggested he had been sexually assaulted.
No one has has been charged in relation to the death, despite his father Terry, a retired toolmaker who lived in Harlow, mounting a decades-long campaign for justice.
Mr Lubbock senior, who earlier this year revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer and said he would 'die of a broken heart', has now passed away at the age of 76.
His friend, and publicist, Harry Cichy, today revealed Mr Lubbock had died and paid tribute to the 'tenacious' father who 'thought about Stuart every waking hour'.
Mr Cichy said that he had 'died sad, because he's died knowing people never knew the truth about what happened', but said his 'fight for justice won't stop'.

I sincerely hope the fight goes on, his tenacity should not be wasted. A number of people know exactly what happened that night, including Barrymore.

NO. He was reported by two of the suspects to Have been found in the pool.
Nothing more than that. That is merely what they said. That does not make it true.

I offer my condolences to Kevin Lubbock, Stuart's older brother, who has now lost both his brother and his father.
Kevin and Stuart were both in the Millennium Club that fateful Friday night of 31 March /1 April 2001.
Michael Barrymore fancied Stuart, which is why he got invited to the so-called 'party' at Barrymore's mansion. Kevin wasn't invited.
Terry Lubbock fought a good fight.
I am very sad today, because Stuart's murderers have, probably finally, 'got away with murder' - and so have the corrupt senior Essex Police officers who very deliberately assisted Barrymore and five others that night to get away with their false narrative of Stuart having drowned.
The headlines in the media distressed me: 'Body in the Pool', 'Body in the Pool ' ad nauseam. I absolutely know that Stuart was never in the pool that night, and so does Essex Police.
Only Kevin Lubbock is now left to carry on the fight.
Will he?
