FWIW, I have received these notes this morning from a Madeleine McCann researcher who watched a 'Reality TV' programme last night about Madeleine McCann on what I am told is 'Reality Channel 142':

As I understand it the IRA were buying guns and had arranged to meet someone in the resort.

Our secret service had somebody in the resort to try and spot the deal and they were replaced by the McCanns. Mr McCann was heard to say they were working, not on holiday, when leaving UK airport.

The McCanns allegedly drugged their children to sleep. Maddie woke up and fell from the settee and died as in the TV programme.

That is when the cover up began, as there was a few days gap before the abduction story came out. i.e. Maddie had died several days before.

One website for finding Maddie was actually built several days before she was supposedly abducted.

There was an appeal/ request for tourists at the resort to send in photos from a date before the McCanns had even arrived. This was to see if any other of our secret service agents had been captured on film.

The McCanns were granted access/given the keys to a local church, to go as they pleased.

The McCanns disposed of Maddie's body in the coffin of someone else in that church whose known funeral then took place. This is how the Mafia used to do it when they owned funeral homes.

Gordon Brown was mentioned.

As per the prog Gordon Brown put pressure on the Portuguese Government to sack the detective after the McCanns were made suspects and the two dogs' evidence was mounting. It was a political interference to nobble the case.

The TV programme did end, saying if the Met Police were to review the case properly, that would have to include the McCanns as suspects.

What is scandalous is that the Met's remit is deliberately narrow, i.e. to find Maddie's abductor and not to investigate the McCanns.

The Government know this and the police all know the above, so why do they keep giving the Met Police more public money to have a jolly in Portugal?

This report has an air of familiarity about it, a source close to home and I'm not talking of Roathley.

Was it a soap a reality show or a comedy?
