On 25 November 2009, there was severe flooding in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after a powerful storm brought 3 years' worth of rain in 4 hours, killing over 150 people and sweeping thousands of cars away during the famous Muslim pilgrimage, the Hajj.
 
The number one hit song in the U.S. at the time was 'Empire State of Mind' by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.

And CMOMM was born 

Today it has 10,128 members

I wish I had known of this forum at its inception, but better late than never. Antis must be annoyed that it's still going strong, whilst encompassing other subjects, some of which have the odd vague connection.
