No they didn't breath a huge sigh of relief because they didn't do it. Had OG pursued the Portuguese courts to try them, then their defence would surely have included all the numerous conclusions about the McCanns from the shelved PJ case in 2008. A show trial that would become a disaster for TM & OG.

There seems to be a clutch of not unattractive blonde DCIs on the police crime documentary programmes such as Caught Red Handed etc. who have reached the rank of DCI at a youngish age.

Not that I'm suggesting anything.

The four guys appear to have been put in the frame for nothing more that having contacted each other which when I last checked wasn't a crime.
