Didn't Clarence Mitchell mention Natascha in the Australian film?

It is nothing like the case of their daughter.

All these girls that were taken long term for sexual purposes were aged 10 to teenagers!

They were taken from outside whilst they walked somewhere.

  People who creep into houses that are being watched to take very young children are very different offenders and If this had happened it would be someone who very likely assaults the child and kills them within hours.  There would be no fairy tale ending where the child was kept and raised.     Anything to keep the abduction myth alive.

I can't remember but she was mentioned by Kate McCann recently, the interview about the 10 years, 'awful marker of time' one.


This statement;    "Now Kate and Gerry have posted a statement on the Find Maddie Facebook page, reflecting on the "unwanted milestone".
It read: "Ten years- there's no easy way to say it, describe it, accept it. I remember when Madeleine first disappeared I couldn’t even begin to consider anything in terms of years.

"Shawn Hornbeck abducted and kept hidden for over four years, Natascha Kampusch for over eight years. I couldn't go there. And now here we are...Madeleine, our Madeleine- ten years."

Surely Clarence didn't persuade Natascha to travel from Austria to go on UK tv to talk about her ordeal purely to give hope to the McCanns for the 10th Anniversary?

Yet here she is at the end of the interview being asked to give a message to the McCanns.

Found that suspicious myself hence the reason I created the thread however I wanted to see if anybody else came up with the same idea.  Who the hell do they NOT have in their back pocket???

Elizabeth Smart was abducted from her bedroom in Salt Lake City, although at fourteen, she was a different age group to Madeleine.

Perhaps ITV invited Natasha since the McCanns did not wish to be interviewed?

Yes she was a teenager as many of these girls that turned up are. The abductors take them for an 'unwilling partner' so to speak. They do not want a child to look after. I still think they are totally different cases and comparisons with those cases are not going to get to the bottom of where Madeleine went.

Elizabeth Smart was taken by a man that knew her, had known of her existence, knew where she lived and he threatened her with a knife. A child that age can be persuaded with such threats because they know how serious it is. What would a 3 year old do when snatched by a stranger except scream and cry which would be heard by the parents and friends who said they were nearby on the street?

In the whole of America, there is an average of 12 stranger abductions of small children a year. In about 70% of these cases, the child is taken from a hospital, so somewhere busy with multiple babies to chose from (makes the odds better) and somewhere a person could blend in by wearing a uniform to walk out with the child.     

Only 25% of them are taken from their homes, So out of a population of around 20 million children 5 and under, maybe 3 were taken in this way in 1 year.  So what are the chances of this happening in a place with a population of 3500 like Praia da Luz?

The US research also says in the part about recovery, 94% of these children are recovered and it is vital not to use the word 'Abduction' or 'kidnapping' in the media incase the perpetrator panics and harms the child. 
 The psychological profile for most of these abductors is a woman who wants a baby and is to put it politely 'unhinged'.  If you are unhinged I don't see why you would plan an elaborate abduction at night which was timed between the minutes of parents checks when you could just snatch a child from a busy place such as a beach, shopping mall or hospital.

 The M.O. and motivations of the supposed abductor in this case is just about the most improbable and unlikely ones you could think of. 
No wonder they feel the need to push the idea of Mission impossible style gangs of child traffickers.
