"The victim was reported missing to the Santa Ana Police Department by her mother, when aged 15. She is now 25. Isidro Garcia, 41, has been arrested on multiple charges including kidnapping for rape and false imprisonment".

They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"

Yes except that she was dating the fellow at the time she disappeared.

I was going to say I don't think even the most credulous abduction-believer would try to say this case of a 15-year-old girl will give hope to the McCanns, but then I remembered what some of them are like! The fact that there's no similarities apart from someone going missing will be ignored by those who ignore facts in favour of sentimentality.
