The same bloke as can be seen in above ^^^ images, escorting both Gerry and Kate McCann to and from the Policia Judiciaria, I'll wager.

Is it revealed who he worked for when CRG brought him in on the case?

Re: Picture Gallery
Call me Hugh is not much to go on is it? I don't even know if the gentleman in the photographs is Hugh - it's a hunch.
It's a bit strange, as far as I'm aware Gonçalo Amaral makes no mention of this person attending the arguido interviews, only that of Justine McGuiness. The press agencies responsible for the photographs refer to him as a stranger - or some such word.
However, there he is outside the Policia Judciaria and on the aircraft taking the McCanns back to their homeland.

Re: Picture Gallery
This was sent to me via private message some time ago, although it's clearly not the guy in the pics above :
For some time now I've been curious as to who KMs mysterious "Hugh" might be. I've been doing some digging and come across a guy called Hugh Bicheno.
He's an author (amongst other things) but his Wikipedia entry intrigues me :
Bicheno was born in Cuba to British parents in 1948. He was educated in Cuba, Chile and Scotland before winning a scholarship to Emmanuel College, Cambridge, where he won a first class honours degree in History. He was first an academic and then an officer in the British Secret Intelligence Service. Later he became a security consultant in Italy and across Latin America, specializing in kidnap negotiations. He lived in the United States for several years and became a naturalised citizen, but now lives in England. He is bilingual English-Spanish, speaks and reads Italian and French, and can read Portuguese.

Re: Picture Gallery
Mystery solved. The corpulent gentleman accompanying the McCanns in and around the Policia Judiciaria in September 2007 is in fact family advisor David Hughes - not Hugh call me Hugh Hugh..
David Hughes, (R) a family adviser to Kate and Gerry McCann, addresses the media outside the family home in Rothley, Leicestershire, in central England, 12 September 2007. As the pressure grows on the parents of missing British toddler Madeleine McCann, their extended family have stepped up their media appearances, angrily denouncing the police investigation. Until very recently, Gerry and Kate McCann appeared on television and in newspapers almost daily, keeping the hunt for their daughter in the headlines in the hope of garnering leads about what happened to her. Or could it still be one and the same?

At the last two meetings the barrister and legal assistant were joined by a consultant called Hugh, whose profession was not at first explained (‘Just call me Hugh,’ he said enigmatically).

Seriously folks .... this just popped up on the BBC hompage
Out the corner of my eye I thought it was Kate McCann. Some genuine weekend action rather than Olive Oyl's customary diatribe.
It's not the first time I've made the suggestion, I can beforgiven can't I?

Anything rather than Olive Oyl and the sick bucket !
Seriously though , I'd much prefer to go for a Tapas with Bowie rather than Healy .
