Another attempt by Rupert Murdoch's The Sun to publish a photo of Madeleine and make money from her - whilst at the same time giving us nothing new whatsoever and all the old tripe.

Like this:

"On the night she was taken police received two separate potential sightings from members of the public -- however one was fully ruled out as being a holidaymaker with his daughter".

Technical point here, DCI Redwood on BBC Crimewatch (2013) did not say that Tanner's claimed sighting of an alleged abductor was 'fully' ruled out. But for most people, and espcially The Sun, what does the truth in this case really matter anyway?

We also have the repetition of the statistic produced by Operation Grange back in October, namely that there have so far been 8,685 'sightings' of Madeleine in 101 countries (although I don't think that includes the 21-year-old Swedish woman found in Rome recently).

I will hand it to Scotland Yard regarding the statistics they've produced over the years - magnificent.!Such attention to detail!

They will be trotted out when Operation Grange finally comes to an end, and the vast majority of the British people will think what a thoroughly comprehensive, no-stone-unturned, no-holds-barred investiagation it has been.

Except that one hold was and is barred.

The hold marked: 'This might not have been an abduction'.

Oh, and The Sun article also includes a video of a psychic who claims he knows what has happened to Madeleine and, for good measure, a video of an Operation Grange/Met Police senior officer trying to look earnest and sincere.

The psychic is Michael Wingers Norwegian I think and that video has been out for years. He is well known and has solved many missing cases, this one I believe he is way off track. He took time out due to personal problems. There I see another video of a psychic claiming she is dead notice how the Sun do not publish that one? Why now to include psychic impressions ?

If I recall the family showered the Pj with information from "psychics" in the beginning. There was also two psychics who offered information concerning the "golf course " , it was years back in Portugal with GA, pretty spot on considering the mobile pings... the FBI ones also did a documentary years after, I don't get how this can be given psychically after the " the horse has bolted".
Not wanting to get caught up in a debate about psychics, find it odd that ten years down the road the sun publish a Norwegian psychic impressions? It's a first isn't it.
